Yes, Armour is different from glandulars, but, heck, I am not good at explaining this stuff. I really suggest you read the material on these websites. Also, I tried low doses of thyroid meds when I first felt fatigued and they did nothing for me as well. Come to find out, it did nothing because the dose was too low. Not to say this is the case for you, but it's something worth checking out.
