Hey Bex, which part of NZ are you in? I'm in Auckland - be interesting to know what places and people you recommend.

Sugar Since I was little I've always been very sensitive to sugar. It really buzzes me up. I've cut a lot of sugar out as well

Sunshine P - yeah I had the 7 days and the 14 days "illness", but boosted the system up with adrenal and liver support and seemed to have slid past the 21 without much issue Still of late it feels as though an elephant has decided to sit on the top of my brain. The "brain tension" is located mainly in the top/front of my brain (where it has been most of my life to varying degrees - same place where I feel "THE FOG") which I believe is in the "deep thinking" section for me. Problem is whenever I need to really think about something it seems to be that part of the brain that needs to process it and in return it stubbornly, and argumentatively (figuratively speaking), declines to assist. I also get the "band of pressure" - not pain as such, just pressure - reaching around from the top front to around the sides of the brain (much like where the bands of the "miss world" tiara would go!) It's not like this is unusual for me - this state of being always comes and goes. It's familiar ground and I'm stubborn

Most of my pain and suffering was centred on my back. Mostly lower back, but shoulders, neck and upper back all get in on the action and hurt like hell too. My diet directly affects all of those muscles. If I eat wheat……muscles in my back hurt like hell.

This was for me too! Less so lower back, more middle and upper back. Imagine this pulsing and reaching around through into the gaps in the rib cage.

Knowing what I know now, the acne on my back is a blessing - it's showing me that my back is a major place of detox for me. In fact after seeing the chiropractor and changing my diet, my back acne has done some amazing things! Instead of being "randomly" scattered it began to form into clusters, one gathering point being a major area the chiropractor used to adjust. They would also form into lines, sometimes even mirrored on the other side of the back. I guessed it was all coming from the lymphatic system - which to me suggests that I need to visit a good infra-red sauna more often

*Just a clarification - the muscle spasms in my back used to come and go, usually it would flare up just before the gastritis would. Theory is that the back would tense up, constrict the nerves running to my inners which would, in turn, make them tense up. However I also believe that I was just running with scissors anyway, so any aggravation anywhere could set either one or the other off. Thank god those days are behind me.
