And have read a lot of threads on this site and see many had bad experiences with it. I just bought an $ bottle and want to try it, but the violent throwing up people are getting from it, is kind of turning me off. Are there any good news stories about it's use?
Should I use it only after all my fillings are out or can I take some before that?

Why not first try it trans-dermally- that means putting 3 or 4 drops on your skin. I am almost 4 years past amalgam removal and did not do well taking wither cilantro or chlorella orally. But I did not experience any bad side effects doing it with drops on my forearms. After a while you can step up the dosage. Al

Hi Peacesoul, I think some people can have trouble digesting chlorella because of the tough cell wall (something like that). Many now have "broken cell wall" chlorella and are easy to digest. But again I am not certain. It can depend on allergy potential too I guess. I got signs when I started to burp the chlorella up and from there it worsened into vomiting later when I continued to take it. So I had to stop of course. May have also been the type of chlorella it was. I used to do "ok" on a broken cell wall chlorella by (nature's way). But again it was years ago and it may have just been ok for me then. HOwever, it caused a lot of symptoms with the mercury and I found often intolerable because of that alone. Then again I found almost anything intolerable when I was moving mercury. Sometimes it was ok and there were times I felt better. But all in all I found Andrew Cutler's a safer and better bet. People have varying results from chlorella and some do just fine on the stuff. Some can't stand it. I would start off with a very low dose and test reactions first if you really want to try it. You may find this link useful, Russ (the owner) recommends this and I think this was similar to the protocol he used to get detoxed. http://mercurytalk.com/wiki/index.php/Detoxing:Getting_Started_With_A_Detox_PlanI hope that is helpful to you.

Should I use it only after all my fillings are out or can I take some before that? What kind did you get? and What strain if you can find that (vulgaris, regularis, etc.) If you try a very small amount 100mg you should have minimal side effects. If you tolerate it the stuff is probably the healthiest thing on earth you can eat.

Bex, I will start off slow. More than anything, I hate that I spent the $30 and hear is may make me ill. I heard so many good things about it. I have a pill form so not sure if that is the cell wall you're takng about
As for taking it as an oil, I already bought the pills. I spend WAY TOO Much on sups as I am sure many here do.
Thanks :-)

Hi peaceful, nice to see you! You're looking suprisingly good by the way! So you must be doing something right!!! But that can be cold comfort when you're suffering on the inside.
I wouldn't regret getting the chlorella as such. you will usually get warning signs if it's going to head in that direction and I did not heed them until it was full on vomit stage. So just watch out for any burping up of the stuff and serious nausea. If you find it's heading in that direction, you can be pretty sure it's not going to get any better...and may eventually go onto the serious vomiting stage.
Nausea can also occur during detox, but the one I got with chlorella was far more intense and different somehow. You'll know!
Can you let us know the brand? I'd like to look it up online if I could. I'll check and see if it's cracked cell wall, because I am certain this is far easier to digest and may not cause the issues as much.
Same here, sometimes I spend too much on supplements and half the time I really do not know if they are even helping me that much. Diet and chelation were much more effective in the end. Though I must admit good quality vitamin C powder and E were good. They helped me in my early stages of mercury and did much more than I could have imagined. Selenium did too but that's another one that can cause too many symptoms if one is very mercury toxic....just gotta start easy and go from there.

I looked up the link and your chlorella looks like a very good brand. It also says this:: 2. Ensure Chlorella's tough cell wall is broken or cracked to improve digestibility as whole Chlorella is less than 50% digestible. Traditionally, Chlorella's cell walls have been broken by heat, chemical processing or milling. Milling grinds up the Chlorella to increase digestibility but this process also exposes the nutrients within the cell wall to increased oxidation and can reduce potency and shelf stability. Today, high pressure jet-spray drying is the preferred means of cell wall breakdown as it typically achieves over 80% digestibility without compromising potency or shelf life. So that is the place that sells your chlorella, that must be a relief to you! I'd be surprised if you got any reaction, other than from metal mobilisation or detox. But you have the cracked wall chlorella and obviously a really good quality one too. Let us know how it goes for you. You look wonderful in the pic! I wish I looked as good and I'm 35, wow! But very sorry you don't feel so great! Hoping you'll find a breakthrough. Perhaps all things combined will start to make the difference.

Oh, I'm so happy to know I bought a good quality one. I'll try it once I start getting the fillings removed. I was suppose to get two out yesterday, but have vertigo and had to cancel. I hope to get them out soon. Thanks for the kind words...not bad for an old lady huh ;-)

I hope it'll help you, but if you find the effects too much, I wouldn't push yourself beyond coping point. I did that too often and messed myself up many times. I wishI coudl take chlorella because there is so much goodness in it, but didn't handle it too well with metal chelation unfortunately.
I don't do well on algae products now especailly with my gut issues, so I don't touch them.
lol no yu're not bad for an "old" lady! (and I put that in quotes). but let us hope that this removal process and detox is going to set you on a path to proper healing. Again I am really interested in hearing if you tolerate chlorella and what happens.
Andy doesn't recommend it and doesn't believe it helps, but again it's hard to dispute if someone does well on it...I think caution is always the best.
