The big long message half way down from me. I did most of that myself, but the yahoo group helped. It was a lot of work reading the hair test book. Its bloody complicated. But bloody interesting finding out what else is wrong with me.

Q : is it possible to still have mercury poisoning and it not show up in a hair test?

100pct yes. This is very common, especially with old exposures. Some people do not excrete mercury…which is why you would have no mercury coming out of your head into yr hair.

You will prob start on DMSA, not DMPS because DMPS is prescription only.

Any reactions to DMSA will confirm mercury toxicity, but there is not need to rush and do this right now. Best to wait for AI to arrive and start reading, it explains everything. Post the hair test as suggested so that yahoo FDC can help you understand whats going on. Mercury detox takes probably minimum 1 year, so a couple of weeks here or there is no big deal. You need to prepare yourself as best as possible and AI will enable you to do that. Read the book, post the hair test……learn about it first. Chelation is simple, but eassy to get wrong and get hurt. Dosing quantities you should get from Yahoo FDC and not as per the book. The book was written in 1999 and after much experimenting lower dosages are recommended…start at 12.5 mg DMSA
