A hair test is a good indicator of mercury toxicity IF you know how to read it. Reading it is bloody hard, but loads of mercury toxic people have done the hair tests so if you compare the tests you can see if you too are mercury toxic. Notice the word “indicator”. i.e. it indicates if there is a problem. i.e. it helps in understanding but is not always a confirmation. To compare tests with others…all the tests have to be the same…hence the need to do the same test. All these lab use different values and methods in testing.

Your link does not give the lab used, but it did say this “Dr. David Quig, Vice President, Scientific Support, Doctor's Data Laboratory talks about the hair analysis procedure and benefits.”

……………and Doctors Data Lab is the people have been using to compare notes. Cool.

That Cutler bloke also wrote a nice long book about it, which is real interesting and you will learn lots and lots about yourself….but stick with Amalgam illness for now as its heavy duty and you need to read AI first.

If you did the right test, then you simply post it somewhere and then some really cool helpful mercury knowledgable people help you understand what it means. Free of charge too.That’s that Yahoo group Bex suggested you join in her earlier post. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/frequent-dose-chelation/

Test needs to have been a “Hair elements test” by Doctors Data inc. (DDI)

Ah! I just found the instructions for posting………

How to post DDI hair tests to the Yahoo frequent-dose-chelation group

Option No. 1:

You can send the PDF to hairtest@livingnetwork.co.za

Dean posts the hair tests at:

http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest.html

Prepare the following information to remind everyone what is going on with you:
Please be sure to include your location (City and Country) when you e-mail the
test, and all other relevant information such as:
1) Current symptoms and medical history;
2) Current dental work in place and dental history;
3) Supplements; medications and chelating schedule at the time of hair test;
4) Recently added supplements and medications after the hair test and date
added;
5) Other relevant information.

Option No. 2:

If you don’t have a scanned copy of the hair test you can use the template below to copy your results into an email and post it to the main list. Be sure to include all relevant information as mentioned (1-5, above) to help people to interpret the test.

The "format" below can be "copied and pasted" to your email, just be sure to fill it all in completely:
POTENTIALLY TOXIC ELEMENTS
element result ref range color
=============================================
etc…..

Full list is in the Yahoo groups “files” sections
