1. What is the best way to test your mercury levels so that you know that you really have mercury poisoning?
-first read amalgam illness and secondly do a hair test. You need to do a specific hair test, not any old hair test. Let me know and I will provide the details. For 100pct confirmation of mercury toxicity, once you are mercury free, take a mercury chelator like DMSA….if you get a reaction you are mercury toxic, if no reaction you are not toxic….but from the book you will be able to self diagnose.
2. While you are detoxing, do you need to frequently test your mercury levels so that you know if the levels are going down?
-no. your symptoms will be your guide. Hair tests are recommened once per year to see what happening but your symptoms and health will be your guide.
3. Do you need to be followed by a doctor, or can you just follow what Andy Cutler says in his book?
-if you can find a doctor that is knoweldgable in mercury then go for it. most people cannot find them. I have not. Only doctors I’ve found have hurt me with their $hit advice.
4. I read on this forum and found the link were several products such as the DMSA can be bought without a prescription. Has anyone ever bought them without a prescription? And if so, can you tell me where you had luck with a reputable place? I know there is so much fraud out there these days when it comes to medications and supplements.
No need for a prescription. I get mine here
http://www.worldwidehealthcenter.net/category.php?find=dmsa5. Do you think it is possible to get rid of my symptoms through detoxing, if I do have mercury poisoning?
Yes but not on its own. Getting better is so more that just chelating with specific mercury chelators. Getting better is about supporting and cleansing your toxic body. When you read AI you will see the protocol is simple….low dosage dmsa, dmpa, ala round the clock 3 days on protocol, then 4 days rest. Simple stuff. The book is full of support methods for your body. All your organs have been compromised by mercury so they ALL need help…..Cutler describes what you can do to help yourself. you get to decide what problems get treated first.
Welcome to the forum Bfree and Heavy head, you are lucky........ not many people figure it out, congratulations. You are now in a position to start taking measures to get better.
