Hi lawstudent, sorry you've had similar. Sounds like I may end up getting a root canal too because I am fearful to lose the tooth. However, if I'm faced with the typical toxic root canals, and cannot find a dentist who does the other, I may need to get the tooth extracted and leave it at that.

Are you considering waiting a bit longer before you get the less toxic root canal? If the pain has not increased and has subsided a little, coudl this indicate things maybe healing a wee bit? Or do you think it's just dying <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shiftyeyes.gif" alt="" /> My pain is just there, twingeing constantly but is not enough to cause me agony or reach for the pain killers.

I swear there were sympathy pains from the other teeth on the other side, I felt something over my right side last night and I thought OH GREAT. But it's mainly this one in particular.
