I don't know much about toothaches.But I read some info. from the holistic dentist that said it is common to experience some kind of sensitivity at some point after filling replacement.

I had a bit of pain on the right side ,about 3 weeks after the
first replacements and the same after the second set of replacements,on the left side,again ,around 3 weeks later.
The pain & sensitivity is mostly gone now except for one tooth.
Hot or cold food/drinks seem to bother just one tooth, but only since I had the fillings replaced.
