Just wondering if anyone else suffers from either of these problems? I don't have acne, but have a real hard time with blackheads. I've tried all kinds of products, but they just won't go. Now I use pull out strips, but they still keep returning.

I was wondering if this could be due to effects of mercury or something else? Anything that is good to stop the build up?

I used to think my acne was a hormonal imbalance. I don't have problems with blackheads but my face kept breaking out. I starting using liquid minerals and that seem to help. I have read acne is a sign of mineral deficiency such as zinc or sulfur, which can be caused by mercury.
But when I got my 3 large fillings out it cleared up within 2 weeks. As far as products I use organic tea tree cleanser and cleaning pads.

Wow, it's amazing all the influences mercury has. I have a spot every now and again, and had lots as a teenager, but blackheads is my main problem. I just can't shift them. They are a problem on my chin and my nose. I also have a lot of spots on my back.

The pull out strips removes the blackheads for a while, but then they just come back. I've tried lots of products, but I seem increasingly sensitive to them. One I tried brought me out in a rash.

I used to think it was caused by dirt, but now I know it comes from the inside. Be interesting if they improve when I have my fillings removed.

I had terrible acne when I was a kid. So bad, in fact, I was put on antibiotics. I know believe wholeheartedly that it was caused by the numerous mercury fillings I had.

Did your acne clear up of its own natural accord or did you have to have your fillings removed/replaced before it went?

I strongly believe that despite living a healthy lifestyle, the cause of my acne and the fact that its resistent to all treament, is due to my 7 mercury fillings.

One of my daughters has really bad acne and she has no mercury fillings, but of course is my daughter. We have tried everything on her supplements, flax seed oil, and my husband bought her the Proactive stuff, but that only dries her skin out really bad (benzole peroxide) I have had her on progesterone and that has helped her to have her periods now and so I hoped would relieve stress on the adrenals, but she just hasn't gotten cleared up.

I would love any suggestions that you all have tried that worked.

Liver flushes (see dr hula clarke on curezone) really helped me. I think candida is also suppose to cause acne.

I had this horribly when I was a teen. Here's a suggestion.

Use this 1 to 3 times per day: Herbal Trim Skin Treatment

When you receive it, mix in a couple ounces of Colloidal Silver.

Please let us know how it works if you decide to try it.

I developed acne rosacea a few months after having my amalgams removed (I am one of those people who actually got worse in many ways after removal). I was hesitant to blame every single problem that arose on mercury, but it sounds very possible.

I went to a dermatologist, who put me on antibiotics for a few months. Now I take nicomide and use special cleansing and topical solutions. It has since cleared up, for the most part.

For the blackheads, has anyone tried the following?

Castor Oil, up to 100% or you can blend at least 50% of castor and 50% olive oil together. Apply to your face for 20-30 minutes and then wash the face/back or wherever you need help. Do this 2-3 times a week or daily if they are that bad, it won't hurt to do it daily. Use a gentle soap, not a strong one like dial.

The castor will sink in and soften the blackheads, which then makes them easier to come out.

Be careful with those strips used to remove blackheads, they can cause scarring, but you won't see it for years to come (ask me how I know). Helps now, but in the future.... I woudn't use them anywhere but on my nose, if at all.

Do you have a coffee grinder? Or a stick blender with attachments? You can grind up oatmeal very fine, grind it up to where it is powdery fine and then keep going. Mix this with room temp yougurt and use this to clean your face with. Gently massage it into your skin in small circles, careful not to apply too much pressure. It will gently exfoliate your skin, which will help with the blackheads/acne. If you don't have a coffee grinder or stick blender with attachments, you can buy collodial oatmeal and use that. I've used the baby oats in a pinch also. I wouldn't use the ground oatmeal daily, at the very most, every other day, because it will exfoliate and you do not want to do that too often. Try twice a week and if no issues and you want to try more, then try 3 times a week. Everyone's skin is different and you know your skin, so go with what you know you can tolerate. Use plain unflavored yogurt and I buy the big container and scoop out into a dish, leave for an hour and it's at room temp.

If skin is over oily, consider this. You deep clean your skin. There is nothing left on it. But your skin does require something on it, so it sends a signal to the brain to produce more oil since there is nothing there.

So when you deep clean, make sure you replace what you take off. Now I'm not talking about bottleing sweat and old body oil and reusing it. But take a few drops or maybe even a drop of sweet almond oil or olive oil and massage it into your face, even if you think your skin is too oily. Because it might be too oily because of the way you clean it.

If you can get your hands on dead sea mud and it is affordable, this is a very good product to use as a facial, once a week or twice a week. Be prepared for it to make your skin worse before it makes it better. It draws the impurities/toxins out of the skin and acne is how it shows. But with regular use, it will clear up. I would say anything over $12 per pound of dead sea mud is too much.
