Hi Mikey, thanks I did have a good Christmas! HOpe you did too.

The diet I have to stick to is stricter than what it used to be because I'm much sicker than what I once was. I have discovered that I cannot eat any grain at all because they are all high in carbs and can still feed candida. The worst offender is wheat/gluten though. I cannot eat any fruit (high in natural sugars), honey (same reason), milk or cheese (lactose/mold), potatoes/corn/beans/peas (high in carbs).

I can consume the following : vegetables (excluding the ones above), meats (lamb, chicken, beef, pork, liver, etc), eggs, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds/brazil nuts, butter, extra virgin olive oil, lard, the fat on meat with the meat, cod liver oil, sardines, acidophilus sugar free plain yoghurt.

I drink mainly herbal tea and depending on how I am sometimes I do have ordinary tea and coffee (but I have to be careful with coffee). I never add any milk.

That is basically my diet and the only one I can handle. Deviating from it causes problems. Even a baileys coffee with some milk added can cause a relapse. Or having grain or potatoe chips or something like that. I cannot eat anything with sodium nitrate (sausages etc).

Some people might not need to go quite so strict and can consume limited fruit (2-3 pieces a day), limited non gluten grain like rice, corn, millet, etc. Milk, maybe some cheese.... And i used to be able to do that once, not so anymore.

If/when I ever improve, I maybe able to relax my diet to include more of those foods, but until them the only way I can function is by sticking to the stricter version.

Your difficulty eliminating wheat bread is no doubt due to the fact you maybe allergic to it and its possibly feeding the yeast as well. It is really hard to get rid of certain foods that may actually be making you quite sick or REALLY sick. You may do yourself the world of good by getting that out of your diet, particularly in mercury toxicity. Wheat apparently is treated with a mercury fungicide (if i'm not mistaken, which might account for the symptoms i used to get when eating it, I'd get almost immediate poisoning symptoms), plus the fact it contains gluten which is a big problem with many people and eliminating gluten alone can sometimes effect almost a cure in certain people. I would steer clear of it.

If you MUST eat some kind of grain or bread, I'd stick to limited non gluten/ non yeast kinds. Corn, rice, millet, sago, buckwheat, etc are some substitutes if you can find them. But always make sure on the packet there is no added sugars, malt etc.

Doing things on top of that diet may also help like chelation, parasite cleanses etc.
