I know for sure that the manufactures of room thermostats like honeywell and others have stop using mercury in them the epa had banned the use of mercury in and type of room thermostats a couple of years ago ,
seems like we need the epa to take over the ada and the fda ,and then we can finally do away with amalgams for good
