hi sregan : do you have any amalgam fillings , the reason I ask is that cutler warns against ,chorella, msm ,and ala while they are still in ? they can do alot of damage to your recovery
I know that msm does mobilize mercury and does not remove it from the body .I had a bad reaction to it recently, ala is good if used in the cutler protocol after amalgams are removed Yes, I've been a heavy cavity kid all my life and since the age of 10-12 had a mouthful of amalgams (10 or more). In the couple of years before my CFS I had some dental work done where the dentist removed amalgams and replaced with composite and had amalgams removed for root canals/crowns. After about 6 months of severe stress my system was a mess. I've read that DMSA and DPMS should not be used as they might enter the saliva and leech mercury from the teeth. If they strongly bind mercury I don't see why it should be an issue if the mercury has bonded with the chelator why it should be a problem. I recently read a article/post where someone mentioned he took DMSA, although he knew it was not recommended, got the positive chelation effect with no ill effects. Does Andy mention that in his book? If so what page?
