Where does mercury get deposited? I've heard in cell proteins. This makes sense if heat shock proteins were getting mis-folded and disrupting neurological electrical signalling. What determines where and in what quantity metals get deposited? MarkH

Mercury has a high affinity for your brain, including hypothalamus and pituitary. This is a good question for Andy Cutler, one which I'm sure he has addressed on either the autism-mercury or frequent dose chelation yahoo groups, so that would be a good place to check out.
