If anyone has information or experience with Chorella I would love to hear it.
I'm trying to figure out what, if anything, it does with Mercury. I've seen only one "study" where they said they gave subjects chlorella and did not find any increase in Mercury excretion.
Everyone selling the stuff says it binds to Mercury., Dr. Klienghart? says it binds irreversibly to Mercury in the digestive tract and keeps going out the door. If that was true taking it should be an easy slam dunk to lower Mercury.
I've had CFS for over 4 years and recently tried Chlorella. At first it was good, then great. I had about half a day that I felt almost completely cured. It was wonderful. I was taking about 4g at lunch time. I would feel worse about 30 minutes after taking the stuff and better the next day.
Then it turned on me. My anxiety was once again through the roof like it was in the early days and my Adrenals felt like they had been completely drained. I felt like all the progress I've made in the last three years was wiped out in a few days.
Taking GABA, Valerian and Taurine helped some with the anxiety. On the 4th day or so I took Magnesium Glycinate in the morning upon awakening and that seemed to cure the last of the anxiety (thank GOD!).
But my adrenals are still drained. I'm been shutting down a couple of hours after lunch. I'm now taking buffered C, Maca, B5, B6, Folcin and B12 to try to repair. It is helping but, of course, slowly as the adrenals cannot be rushed. I'm reluctant to try licorice or Glandulars as they seem to stress the adrenals more. I've read great things about Maca.
Anyway, I felt VERY good then VERY bad. I've read that Andy Cutler seems to think that Chlorella moves Mercury around. That must be from experience because I couldn't find any more proof that it moved Mercury than those who say it binds and removes Merury. But that reasoning could explain what happened to me. The Chlorella pulled Mercury from the tissue, I felt better and the Mercury (someof it) ended up settling in my Adrenals (which some think is the cause of Adrenal Fatigue). In fact Mercury moving around and resettling could explain the very dynamic nature of this disease. One hour you feel great the next you're in hell.
Anyway please let me know your experience and your conclusions.
