I'm sure that's true Bex, but the same could be said of any type of chelation.
Cilantro really has to be used with organic garlic from my experience. ALA, eh, I can use it but it gives me the same foggy head experience as chlorella. I use it now and then, not crazy about it. Love the cilantro though. The liver flushing is great when I eat a big plate of cilantro pesto the night or morning prior. ALA is suppose to be real good for cleaning toxins out of your liver but I think the cilantro/garlic pesto is better at it. Doesn't come in a pill so doctors probably won't ever go that route.
I will never forget when you told me to try the ALA and my baby finger became completely numb for a couple days, heh.
I did feel very demineralized after the synthetic chelators, that's a fact. Which is why I will only use dmsa if absolutely necessary these days. It does seem to cause yeasts to flourish.
If I had to choose the best chelator for me it would be the cilantro/garlic/olive oil/lemon routine. Cilantro made me pretty loopy when I was real sick though. It's a good maintenance item, something to keep on the healthy diet menu forever.
It's really important to do the colon cleansing if you are toxic, and the liver flushing is phenomenal too. My doctor didn't offer hydrotherapy, I had to seek it out myself, but it plays a big part in my early recovery too.
The DMPS was very effective for getting mercury out of my jawbone that's a fact. I don't think it affected my few amalgams still in there much, but all my teeth felt much better after the DMPS. There was apparently a lot of mercury in my jawbone and facial muscles. While I was still doing only the EDTA IV I was going to dentist after dentist to figure out why my teeth suddenly ached so much after the dental work that caused my disaster. I didn't get any work done at that point, just tests... and then my doctor started the DMPS. DMPS cleared the achy teeth and jaw up completely within a couple weeks. Cleared everything up to a tolerable level within a couple weeks.
