Have not seen either of you on line for awhile, and wondered how you have been. You sometimes cross my mind, and I pray things will get better.
Hope all is going OK with you guys.
Anyone heard? Hope news is good.

HI TW, been wondering the same thing. I have messaged Tracy on pm, with no response. I am saddened by the absence of both Tracy and Sandi and more than a little concerned, as both of them were frequents on the forum!
I do not know how to get hold of either of them and hope someone here who may have more access to closer contact can reveal anything either way....
I miss them both.

Hi everyone,
I heard on another forum that Sandi might be coming home from the hospital today. I hear that she's quite had enough! I saw it described on another forum that Sandi was fed up with her doctors and nurses. The not-so-healthy hospital food has made her feel unwell and caused her candida to come back. I heard they were even including rice krispy treats, gluten, and peanut products in some of her meals -- all things that will make a person with candida ill.
I also heard that she was wanting to try the Hocksey herbal treatment. But I don't know whether she's been able to attempt this while in the hospital.
I guess I should qualify my post here by saying that I am hearing this information second hand as I have not spoken with Sandi personally.
Bless her heart, she's really been through the ringer.
Hugs, SomedaySoon (Sharon)

Thanks for the update SomedaySoon!
I just hope they get better. In fact, I hope that for all of us suffering from what, as far as I can tell, never should have happened in the first place.

Hi Sharon, thanks a lot for passing that on. It's unfortunate that the hospital food has to be what it is. I know of some girl who had serious candida and was in a mental hospital and got treatment for it eventually and started coming right.
ONe issue I thin had her in hospital if I remember rightly and they did not pay any attention to the yeast issue and fed her all the wrong foods. She relapsed and then later committed suicide.
So, it's unfortunate that they don't seem to take into account people who require these kinds of diets, as I don't honestly think they really believe the candida issue! Which is very sad.
I think I'd refuse to eat most of the time and probably just eat meat and vegetables. But maybe they would not allow that!
At any rate, I wish Sandi all the best, she sure has been through the ringer and is still going through it. I hope this herbal treatment, if she is going for it, will be helpful to her.
I hope she comes back on here!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" /> Bex.
