These are my Mum’s hands.

She has itchy red lumps coming up. They are on her arms and legs. They itch like mad and any scratching makes them much worse. The lumps become hard and are unsightly, but the pain is worrying her.

When they start appearing, the lumps are red with a kind of white dot in the middle.
She has had them for 3 months now. After initial itchiness, the lumps have become hard and scar like.

They are very heat sensitive. Too hot and they all flare up and hurt&itch more. She cannot have very hot baths or hot showers anymore.

She has been to see 3 different Regular doctors and they could not help.

Are these called Hives?????

If they where hives I expect the doctors to have known that?

Anyone got any bright ideas what they are? And what to do about them?
