Reading these posts, it sounds a lot like my story as well! Except my self seclusion started at a later age. I really think what is happening here is we all become reclusive when our adrenals, and thyroid get affected. My guess based on reading articles on the adrenals. Note what that Doctor Rind wrote about OCD (like double and triple checking locked doors, etc.) getting better when adrenals are healed.

This is not you! or your personality! I can't really say this and be 100% positive, but it is highly likely that everyone of us has toxic overload of certain systems that set you into a pattern of feeling sick and anxious, thereby avoiding other people. Think about it! That's why it was referred to as "Mad Hatter's Disease" - people making felt hats were exposed to mercury in the process, becoming a bit unbalanced, and exhibiting strange behavior.

The good news? I think it can be beat. In my case, I am able to once again do things that I could not a couple years ago. I have done about 40 rounds of chelation. But I stopped 12 weeks ago, and I think I am even better. Will I chelate more? Maybe - I am thinking about it. But my thought is that sometimes a break by going the natural route will let your adrenals heal more.
