In reading this, you could be typing about me, that's how much I relate to it all. Where to start? Yes, metals can do all that and more! and so can yeast, which is often the result of a metal toxic environment. Both can do it, either or both.
My life, has been spent in my mind as well. I am used to spending it there because not only have I always had an overactive imagination, but since I"ve been so debiliatated, my imagination has become my life.....I hate it, yet, somehow I rely on it.
The idea of someone coming to my house, or me being invited out can cause anxiety just considering it. I have profound fear of this and anythign like it, so like yourself, spend most of the time in my room. Yet, i have had flashes of what I "could" be like and it's quite tragic to know that underneath I am not a fearful person and would otherwise enjoy a normal life.
I can say almost immediately I had braces placed on my teeth, the personality changed. I have always been shy, which may have been me or mercury from an early age, but the braces was the clincher. So from there, all tendencies became pronounced to the extreme. It only took the extra metal to take such a toll. And I became a fearful, pale, withdrawn mess who suddenly hated going anywhere, preferred to hide away, hated the sunlight, and developed strange OCD tendencies. Zero self esteem, awful skin, inability to gain weight or develop properly. So I really felt like a complete outcast.
Though the braces were removed, I never bounced back and was seriously mercury toxic from then on. Though not having braces was a "little" better, things never came right. From there it was years of pain, antidepressants, hiding away, just awful symptoms. Then got put on the candida diet and improved markedly, but again, did not cure me. Gave much relief and improved health.
But the metal toxins were the underlying factors at that time. Being overly self conscious is a big part of that. You just feel like a freak.
