my parents or family have not been nurturing or loving my whole life and they have always called me lazy and what not. i know i have had metals and have been chemically altered my whole life too. so i was wondering if any of you have ever been called lazy?

i know ive always been exhausted, depressed, and havent been able to deal with the least amount of stress. does this have a lot to do with my productivity you guys think? i always did have a hard time getting things done when i was told. i don't think i am lazy but its like the smallest task is monumental in my mind. i think i am very active person actually when i am well who is a hard worker thats efficient and does a good job. but ive been sick forever. can anyone relate?

I totally relate to this! I "feel" lazy and I "act" lazy, yet I know Im not truly a lazy person but a toxic sick person. If I ever get the rare moment where a surge of apparent improvements rush through me and energy comes, suddenly I want to do things and help out or have fun. I almost don't stop, the feeling is amazing and you can't help but want to get active.

However, the majority of the time I feel listeless, dead and my body feels as though I am carrying around a dead weight. Dragging one foot in front of the other, this also effects my mind and gives me the feeling of "i can't be bothered". Like yourself, even small tasks require marathon efforts and sometimes I feel like breaking down and crying even just thinking I have to do something. I have been referred to as lazy before by other people.

It's so bad that even taking a bath feels like a chore. Washing myself is exhausting. How sad is that?

spot on guys.

I know if it wasn't for the sickness I wouldn't have been or have been called a lazy person myself. I for one, know am a person who does things thoroughly. It's just si hard to break through the fog and tiredness and find sense in doing a task especially if it's mundane. I guess u could call that laziness but I've had days where even doing mundane tasks seemed fun, so I know it's toxicity.
I also used to be an English teacher, and while it was damn hard to drag your a*se out of the house to the place where u work, once you were there begore your students you gave 100% of yourself (with a little support of caffeine).

So it's really sad that people who have this inherent zeal to work are being called lazy by those who dont understand their position. Again it's the "personality" of one that is to blame.

PS. shawn I haven't read all your posts but I think it's probable your issues are more a direct effect of candida and and an indirect effect of metals. Maybe try doing candida diet?

Yeah I agree. Candida makes you lazy and tired. You also have the energy to concentrate only on the most interesting things. And a stuffy nose when you wake up, and you have actually a hard time of getting up from bed early. Unfortunately, mercury/candida affects people in various ways. I know of a case who was not unsocial and shy (which is perhaps more common), but instead cold and unintuitive, and this person didn't have problems in getting up early from bed.

Funny you should mention that, I get up every morning with a stuffy nose and I can hardly wake up. I'm drugged! So yeah I know metals are involved, but yeast is too, I can just tell.

It's tragic in the way these things stuff up a person's personality and behaviours and let's not forget hopes/dreams and careers (or just wanting a family).

Especially when I see people working so hard on getting well. I have a real indifferent side to my nature since getting this to where I can be completely cold and I have to 'act" like I feel something. Other times I get over emotional and can cry at the drop of a hat over anything.

It's like being a puppet on a string.

So Bex, candida is still your problem. I'm getting better each day, and it is sad to see you're not making progress. Does ALA do any good to you, or are you just afraid to detox, because your adrenals are screwed? If you're like me, lots of things should bite, even vit C, but I'm tired of having to stress my adrenals, just wanting to have normal days, where I'm able to function most of the time.

I can relate to the lazy thing. When I was young they called me slow. Well then as years went by I turned into lazy. Pretty weird because they all seen me at one time raising 2 little kids, working full time and going to college at night 2 and 3 times a week. I went from slow and eventually getting the job done to lazy. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/unsure.gif" alt="" />

Hi pgm, yeah yeast has always been a problem with me, probably since I was born (as was mercury). BUT, I was always able to get it under control pretty well and had the strong die off which showed it was working.

However, since these infections? I just don't get the strong healing reactions and there is little control over the yeast. The more effects I make, it seems they're just not impacting the yeast like it once did.

I am probably going to try the ALA later on in the future, but at the moment I'm getting ready to get my existing composites replaced with cerec porcelain and then may use ALA after that. If the dentist should happen to find any remaining amalgam underneath my composites, as he did with the other lot, I'll be pretty mad.

Not sure if ALA will help me, I tried it a while back and didn't seem to help any further. But can always give it another go. next step is probably parasite cleanse, because I am seriously concerned that this too is impacting me. Amazing how these little b*ggers take advantage of a bad situation and thrive on it. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/reallymad.gif" alt="" />

It's good to hear you are improving as the days goes on, that's how it should be and part of normal healing, though it maybe slow. For me that stopped a long time ago. Apparently I hear that cavitations can stop healing! Hal Huggins mentions this too. Failure to progress, staying down once you get hit down and unable to get back up. All describes me very well. So I sure do suspect this maybe involved. Again there is no clear diagnosis of this. many claim to, but they can give very contradictory results and false positive (false negatives).

Since this thread has started to talk about candida, I will say, coconut oil might be worth a try.

just google, coconut oil candida - and see the results. It might work, what do people think ?

Hi, yeah coconut oil is supposed to be an excellent fat to consume for candida. It is antifungal and antiviral apparenty. But it must be extra virgin organic coconut oil!

I LOVED eating it, but found it caused symptoms too much, which might have been good, but I didn't deal with it too well. Perhaps it was die off, but it just made me feel sick quite often.

But it's a very healthy fat to use, in cooking and eating as is. I may try it again sometime. I also find plain butter is excellent too and apparently another antifungal believe it or not. One of the best forums on candida, recommends both these fats for candida and for general healing. I don't know many people who can eat straight butter, but I can and I LOVE it. No weight gain, nothing. All the misinformation on fats being bad is just that, misinformation. Animal fats are the best thing for human consumption. Vegetable fats like canola oil etc are being found to be harmful. So much for the new age answers to health, which have done more harm than good.

I steer clear now of those types of oils (canola etc). I'm even having doubts about flaxseed oil...considering it's used in paint. I just don't know, but I stick to the good old fashioned fats that nourished our ancestors for centuries. And they really are healing. Before I started eating them, I had little to no appetite, dryer skin, underweight (or overweight, I've been both).

Good for mercury toxicity too, even Hal Huggins recommends butter! Stay away from margarine, it's not much better than melted down plastic.

I am looking forward tot he pot of virgin coconut oil that I have ordered, and hope it will help with candida.

I found out about clarified butter/ghee a while back, and recently have added it to my diet

http://www.yogajournal.com/health/56

I don't know if there is another reason for it, as I have also recently added zinc b vits, but my joints are feeling less stiff. It may be the oil pulling, I don't know. I have heard the oil pulling can cause weight gain and as my weight is increasing, I have decided to stop for a while.

There is definitely a correlation, with the paragraphs of symptoms this illness can cause, it is impossible not to become apathetic to everything and depressed.

The problem is ignorance is bliss, and maybe knowing about the illness while makes coping easier, you also excuse yourself to stop trying since you see yourself as "handicapped"

HI Shawn
Yes always have been a night owl. We thought it was just inherited from our mom. My sis is like that too and also has amalgam fillings and I also beleive my mom had amalgam fillings as well. From remembering what my moms fillings looked like....well they looked just like mine. Anyways yes I have always been like this.
