I think that Wilson's disease can be ruled out with some specific tests. Often people who have it have this strange ring in their eye: http://www.wilsonsdisease.org/content_sub.asp?SUB_ID=56&CAT_ID=14Also their serum ceruloplasmin and serum copper is low, 24h urine copper is high. Liver enzymes are usually elevated too.
