Hi everyone. I'm new here. I would tell you about myself but I can't remember where I last left my brain! I might go to the Mad-Hatter's tea party later.I move so slowly that I can't keep up with my pet sloth.
I am so pleased that I discovered info on Mercury Poisoning. I am not even considering replacing my fillings. Being as all my molars and pre-molars are 90% amalgam above the gumline, and several have root canal fillings, there doesn't seem much point. Unfortunately I probably won't get much done before Christmas especially as we have our summer holidays then. I would like to contact other New Zealanders to find out how they have coped with working through the systems. I'm lucky to have an open-minded GP but he is tolerating my decisions.
I am getting tests done step by step, so that I can show my GP a measurable improvement. It will take a bit longer, but I don't want any doubts about why my health improves later.
I am even having an IQ test done so that I have a measurable result for changes in brain function. Of course it may just prove that I'm simply not very bright at all, but I can't do these tests in retrospect.
For the first time in many years I feel that there is a future for me. I was getting so bad that I had visions of my mother visiting me in the dementia wing of a care facility! . . . . . and she is 26 years older than me. Luckily, she had dentures at an early age.
Russ, I have a small request. There are an awful lot of abreviations which get bandied about in all the symptoms and treatments. For the sake of us "new" people, would you please start a glossary section? There is so much info to take in to start with that remembering abbreviations is in the "too hard" basket.
Looking forward to future communications.
