Hi Tracy, well I keep getting told whenever I get liver testing done, blood or otherwise that my liver is "beautiful" (if only the rest of me reflected that) oh well at least one part of me is. But I do have a problem with the pathways themselves, where liver phase one is too fast, liver phase II is underactive and that can be from long term toxicity or "genetic uniqueness".

However, the liver itself is in apparently superb condition, which surprised me. I found the reason for this was me eating healthy foods and avoiding junk/sugar. But more than that was the addition of raw foods to my diet.

That's what REALLY did it. Basically eating a raw salad most days. Eating things like sliced cucumber, alfalfa, tomatoe, lettuce, celery. I'd just slice them up and that would be it. If I felt more energetic? I would add more to it like a pile of grated carrot/cabbage/beetroot and if I could handle fruit, I'd add some grated apple with it for a bit of flavour and mix in olive oil. So that was a kind of coleslaw.

But most days I'm too tired to bother grating and mixing, so I just slice up the vegetables I spoke of, add some olive oil to them too (just drizzle some over them) and I eat. I may add some sliced carrot to them too. The least amount of work basically because I'm very tired.

So for sure, I think that was obviously the reason for my liver being in the shape it is. Raw vegetables are the key I believe. Milk thistle helps, it's protective and supportive, but I don't believe it comes close to diet.

Cutting down or eliminating alcohol and smoking or anything else like that will of course help, because any load you can remove from your liver will help it to cope and recover.

I hope that's of some help. Just think raw
