This is an excerpt from an article that originally appeared in the Los Angeles Times on Monday, October 25, 1999. ...the ADA had filed testimony in a lawsuit related to a patient who had a bad reaction to fillings, arguing that it "owes no legal responsibility to protect the public from allegedly dangerous products used by dentists." Russ, the above link is a dead link.
BTW, do you know, if indeed there should be class action lawsuits by everyone who has had to undergo amalgam removal, does the ADA have enough money in its coffers to cover reimbursement to everyone for their expenses incurred by same?
Also, what proof would be most likely to be "officially" recognized, should they ever miraculously relent & decide to reimburse everyone. Would fecal mercury testing suffice? Or is it necessary to do the more drawn-out DMPS procedure - as "official proof"?
P.S. Congratulations & thanks for your excellent site & forum! BTW, is there no email notification of responses?
