I am still struggling with the most horrendous insommnia. On a good night I still only get about two hours. I feel like I am going to go insane through this alone. It dosent seem to matter how much ar little I do through the day it makes no difference. I have tried sleep CDs, Hypnotherapy, Acupuncture and every herbal remedy available. Sleeping tablets from the GPs dont touch me and Ive also tried Melatonine with and 5HTP with no success. It really is driving me crazy. Any more suggestions, I suppose Im hoping perhaps if I get my B12, Thyroid and Ad renals sorted this might help. But even a few weeks seems a life time away at the moment. Thanks Tracy xxx

I was the same before I got on adrenal support - now I sleep much better, although its not brilliant. Low cortisol will give you roaring insomnia, that's for sure. I used to wake every night between 2-3am and not be able to sleep again. Lack of sleep was the worst symptom for me.
It's great that you have an appointment with Dr Peatfield - I'm sure he will sort you out. Did you stop taking the pred?
I have weaned down to half the dose of sleeping tablet that I was taking before - slowly but surely getting there. Don't think it works now anyway. And of course the chelating doesn't help sleep patterns either.
take care Nicola
Hope you can hang on for your appointment.

Thats what Im hoping Nicola, that once I see him and hopefully he sorts out my Adrenals it might solve the problem. Its my worst problem too. Thats the problem with the sleeping tabs they seem like a miracle to start with but your body gets use to them and then you have to wean off. Nice to hear from you. All my love Tracy xx
