James, mercury can also cause irrational fears, obsessive thoughts and you tend to think "inwards" and analysing everything, which is what I tended to do when I got toxic, as well as developing ritualistic behaviours.. part of the territory.

Believe me, when you are not toxic like this, you can't even TRY to be scared or fearful. It just isn't there anymore. The response of fear doesn't occur and you wonder where it went. So I wouldn't feel you are souly responsible, because I felt I was too "at the time".

The way to test for dental materials is quite difficult I think because you can get contradictory results. I found that the more testing? The better, and you can eventually narrow it down to some materials they show to be ok on all tests.

I did the serum test. This is from the Clifford lab in US. They test your blood serum against all the dental materials they have to see if there is any immune response (negative). If not, they will say it is "S" ( "suitable"), if they see a response, they will put "ns" not suitable. The amount of dental materials they test is VAST. You get an entire booklet and they will test you against everything, plastic composites, bonding materials, lining materials, porcelains, braces, metals, the whole deal.

Then from there? You can also get tested on an EAV (or voll machine), by a qualfiied doctor or naturopath who is an accurate operator.

Other testing can be done too, people have their own particular methods. I would go from the serum test and then narrow it down from there if you want more testing done.

The other tests appear to test the energetic response, to see if there is any "blocking" responses etc.

I do not honestly know if any of these tests are for real or a money making scheme... I think they do try, but I'd say none of them is perfect. Something will always be missing or contraditory.

Also, many of these materials share alot of similar chemicals anyway, so one composite to another may not always be so very different.. glass ionomers "may" contain traces of lead, arsenic, fluoride etc. But again all of them have their drawbacks without exception and though you may find some that don't have those, you can bet they'll have something else.

It is very hard to replace amalgam fillings, because take out the mercury you replace it yet again with a foreign material that the body has to deal with 24/7. The best you can do is get one that is hopefully as "benign" as possible...I wish there was an allround perfect material....

Also, the mercury in your system that is still there will cause you to be far more reactive than otherwise. So sometimes you can think it's your replacement materials, but many times it's because the person has not detoxed their stored mercury. Mercury poisoning causes chemical sensitivity too.
