Tracy: finally got hold of Dr Peatfield. Finally he came back from holidays and finally I got an appointment and saw him on Tuesday.

I agree, he really knows his stuff. He figured out what I was doing wrong. I have restarted taking ACE on much lower dosages so will see how that pans out.

Thanks for the recommendation. If anyone else needs Thyroid/adrenal help in the UK….Dr Peatfield should be helpful. Google him.
