Go for it.

If I had been living in Florida when the dentists made me sick I would have been able to find a lawyer in a heartbeat. I spoke to lawyers in Florida as a matter of fact because there are bunches down there who do dental malpractice. I figure, my med bills, my pain and suffering, loss of ability to work normally for 3-5 months, for sure are probably worth close to 75,000-100,000.00 easily, and then of course that's not even taking into account the strong possibilty of the ongoing current and future detriment caused to my health through this recent episode.

But where I live, there aren't any lawyers who do dental malpractice, unless of course someone dies and I wasn't hgoing to try to prove anything to that extent..

Most defintely, go for it. Because, dentists aren't being policed like drunk drivers on a highway even though their actions are often much worse and much more common... in that through their actions they leave so many people handicapped, large or small... the only way to police them is through lawsuits.

definitely, go for it.

A statute of limitations sort of applies, but not always. Since you were unaware of what was causing your problems till the problems showed up enmasse the statute of limitations doesn't really apply becayuse you didn't know what caused problem until the problem was diagnosed, eg; the dentist lied to you and you believed him eg; lying is not an excuse to avoid the law, like ignorance, on his part. He decieved you.

Michigan probably has good dental malpractice too. Alas, I am living in the backward boonies where people still accept their aching bones as old age, even if they are only 30 and dentists are getting away with murder, literally.

I would love to know what happens. I wasn't aware that the legal limit was 4-5 fillings. Give us all the gory details and go for big bucks because it's not only your current and past health affected, it's your future health too.
