About my back tooth, i visited him today, and I told him I wanted it removed, he said bad idea, and that it couldnt be removed because the filling had leaked under my gum or something, and that he would have to remove a bit of my gum if I wanted the filling out.
He said it was possible, and that he will try his best to get the filling out on the next visit.
He said if he cannot remove the filling, he'll pull the tooth, but the next time I go, ill tell him that ideally, i want to keep the tooth, so Ill have to tell him, just try your best to remove the filling. One should never attempt to remove a filling without rubber dam and independent nasal air source. Drilling out a filling without protection can release more mercury in your system than a filling in your mouth could over many many years.
