My first point is, if you have a full mouth of teeth and only one mercury filling, i would personally get the tooth removed. Is this safe ?? Or just idiotic, also, if that was the case, It would be difficult to see the dentist and tell him to pull a tooth out, and if he asked why it would be quite embarassing.

My second point is, will goji berries help with getting mercury out. Also, will cacao beans help?

I live in the Uk and they can be bought from detoxyourworld and in the description of cacao beans it says they can help with mercury detox.

On a personal note, I have had mercury fillings since i was 4 years old, started reading about alternative health when I was 15, I am now 18, and had my fillings removed.

One filling could not be removed, the dentist told me it would be impossible, as it covered nearly the entire tooth and in general, it would be too difficult, but he pulled the others out. they were replaced with white fillings.

Also, I think goji berries may contain ALA which might help with it, I read some articles mentioning ALA and mercury, I dont know the full story on it though.

Also, why do people not reccomend chlorella ?? for example, some people will eat dougnuts and coffee for breakfast, and some people will have a vegetable juice with chlorella, so even if the chlorella is bad for you, its better than most foods. Any thoughts on that point ?

Why? Go to a biological dentist, they know about mercury poisoning.

My first reply is, Its very difficult to find one where I live, the truth is, Ive rang around several natural places for mercury testing and none of them provided it, but they were on my wavelength and knew what I was talking about. Ive never looked for a natural dentist though, maybe I should have. Where should i start looking, I mean, how did you find one ??

Also, ive read about people who had their fillings replaced with white fillings and then re reaplced by a natural doctor, the story was on newstarget.com. ive read his articles for 3 years, hes spoken about mercury a few times.

Also, I should have edited the first post, COCONUT OIL, will that help aswell ? there seems to be little information on this forum about goji, cacao and coconut oil regarding mercury. I know about them in general use, but not regarding mercury.

I will try and look for a natural dentist, and see what he can do.

edit ::The key words i need are holistic dentist, and biological dentist

googled has helped a lot, only took 5 seconds !

I know some general dentists will still remove amalgam from you if you request it, but again if they don't really believe in mercury poisoning, they may not do a thorough job and may leave some behind and cover it up.

Holstic/biologic dentists are more likely to do it properly if they really believe in it. Though you get dishonest ones on either side. I sent a link to someone else on this forum to search for biologic dentists in this area. Perhaps it would help you too? Here is a link to the thread on here http://herballure.com/ubbthreads/sh...&sb=5&o=&fpart=1 If you scroll down, you will find the reply that might be helpful to you.

Goji juice is apparently very good. As is coconut oil (so long as the coconut oil is organic virgin coconut oil). I do not know if they directly detox mercury. I doubt it, but their action on the body might aid the body in eliminating any toxins and that may include some metals as well. But they are not direct chelators themselves. They are just good for your health.

If you can't find a dentist near you that uses any alternative materials other than amalgam, removing your tooth maybe fine, but what happens if you get any cavities in your other teeth in the future? What will it be filled with?

Just fill it with white material if I get a cavity again,

the only reason to remove a tooth would be - if you only had one mercury filling , and/ or if the mercury filling could not be removed (my dentist said he couldnt pull it out of my back tooth, the tooth was not strong enough and that half the tooth was the filling, so he left it )

Oh ok, I see. I hope you find a good dentist or oral surgeon to remove the tooth (and the ligament) for you. Really important for them to remove that as well, they can cause cavitations. Avoid vaso constrictors / epinephrine in the local anaesthetics, they can contribute or even cause cavitations to develop.

You may have already read this, but just in case, thought I'd repeat it here. I wish to heck I had known this information before I had my wisdom teeth removed.

Okay, so I dont really need the wisdom tooth, its only at the back anyway.

also, its half-tooth half-filling,

also, what do you regret about it ?? that you lost the tooth, or that it was done badly ?

Well, the wisdom teeth were actually fine and I could have left them alone, but a dentist said they ought to come out because they were not completely exposed (slightly impacted).

She said this might cause infection later on in life if they were not removed. Well, when one of those wisdom teeth were removed, I became far sicker in health. It was never known why this happened, but I had my suspicions. So far from preventing problems, she possibly has caused them.

I went to one top doctor in my country who tested me on his voll machine and kept picking up wet gangrene in that area of the mouth where the wisdom tooth had been removed. This is known as caviation. THis is where a tooth gets removed, but the bone underneath may not grow back over the hole.

This can be caused by the dentist or oral surgeon leaving behind the peridontal ligament and/or using a vaso constrictor in local anasethetic. All frustrate blood flow, healing to the area.

For someone already immune compromised, the growth of bacteria in that area can become systemic and poison the entire body. Even worse apparently than mercury.

So this doctor feels there is gangrene there, yet no obvious signs on xray or even bone scan. Leaving me unable to really do much about it.

If there is something there as he says, then it might explain the loss of healing in my body. Though I have a virus, I dont remember being quite this bad before the dental work....so something isn't right for sure.

The removal of the tooth wasn't the upsetting part, it was the deterioration in health following that dental job. And the fact there is no clear cut evidence.

So you dont reccomend getting the tooth removed ??

My dentist must be quite average, My dad doesnt like him either. Im returning to him this tuesday to see about the tooth which he says cannot have the filling replaced.

Maybe my tooth is too weak and pulling the filling out will shatter it or damage it, and replacing it will be very hard.

I definitely dont want it to be removed and then get infected, if he can remove it properly, then Ill go through with it.

Well, i do have a tooth with a mercury filling, and it needs to be removed, the filling replaced hopefully, but my dentist just drills it out and replaces it, no specific precautions regarding the mercury.

Im seeing him this tuesday, well discuss it there.

hi Fuggles, Im not saying not to get the tooth removed. But it's really wise to do the proper things to ensure that you don't risk cavitation. But again, when I had my wisdom teeth removed, I was already vulnerable from virus infection (that I have never recovered from). So it is relaly hard to know what to attribute all my symptoms to. Combination I assume.

So for someone without the viral problem, their body would no doubt be much more efficient in healing too.

Also, wisdom teeth are much more difficult to remove too, they are ones that are more prone to cavitations.

It looks like you don't have many options if the tooth is already weakened by so much amalgam. I would probably opt for removal personally, but get a dentist that will listen and do the right thing.

>>> My second point is, will goji berries help with getting mercury out.

No, but they can help you feeling better.

>>> Also, will cacao beans help?

I think they can make you feel better but won't help with detox.

>>> I live in the Uk and they can be bought from detoxyourworld and in the description of cacao beans it says they can help with mercury detox.

How do they back up this claim?

>>> One filling could not be removed, the dentist told me it would be impossible, as it covered nearly the entire tooth and in general, it would be too difficult, but he pulled the others out. they were replaced with white fillings.

Maybe he can't remove it but a more skilled dentist could do this.

>>> Also, I think goji berries may contain ALA which might help with it, I read some articles mentioning ALA and mercury, I dont know the full story on it though.

Food does not contain enough ALA to detox you. If you want
to use ALA you need to remove ALL your fillings and detox your body first. Then you can use ALA every 3 hours around the clock to detox your brain. You need to use it that way otherwise you will move mercury in the brain which is very bad. Before you use ALA study the Andy Cutler chelation protocol otherwise it's too risky.

>>> Also, why do people not reccomend chlorella ?? for example, some people will eat dougnuts and coffee for breakfast, and some people will have a vegetable juice with chlorella, so even if the chlorella is bad for you, its better than most foods. Any thoughts on that point ?

Chlorella is a good supplement for healthy non-mercury toxic people. It's not harmful but it can stir up mercury and this can do damage to you. Often Chlorella is also contaminated with heavy metals such as mercury.

Thank you for a brilliant response

How they back up the claim that cacao beans can help with mercury is here : http://www.detoxyourworld.com/acatalog/cacao.html

well, they dont back it up, !! LOL

Also, I should mention that even though he replaced the metal filling, there is still some black dots which is the old filling, but its nearly all gone, like 3 or 4 very small black dots on each filling, where the white is, where he couldnt remove the entrie metal filling. they are very small dots and wont interfere with my health as much as a whole filling hopefully.

My dentist is a very nice man, very friendly and helpful and always tries his best, its just that last time he said he couldnt take the filling out. My vist on tuesday, I will just get it removed.

Money is a factor (unfortunately) and there is a dentist in my city who is skilled and can do what I need to be done to my teeth. For a simple solution, I think the dentist and me will both agree to get the tooth removed, unless he really can try his best and get the filling out this time.

Thankfully I only had 8 fillings, Ive read that people have had up to 15 !! God help them,

the chlorella im referring to is also reccomeneded by mercola, and I doubt it has mercury in it

http://www.synergy-health.co.uk/supplements/chlorella_uk.html

Its high quality, so you get what you pay for, same with coconut oil.

Can someone look into if coconut oil helps with mercury, it really is meant to be excellent for detoxing the body.

Also, i dont understand why I shouldnt take chlorella if it takes mercury out of the body. It can stir it up ?? Should i try it or just completely avoid it ?? Can it ever be taken to help with mercury poisoning ??

By the way, in about two months, I am going to follow a strict health regime and compare how I feel and look to where I was before. It wont just be about food, I will exclude things like toxic toothpaste, shampoo, shower gel, deodrant, cologne, washing clothes powders, and replace them with natural alternatives.

Regarding the health food side, i will do exercise for about 45 minutes a day.

Regarding the food, it will consist of raw foods mostly, and hopefully this will all help towards becoming better.

On a side note, I have terrible hypoglycemia, very dry skin, and possibly bad thyroid function, i have lost the outer third of my eyebrows etc etc, and hopefully many of my other symptoms will disappear too.

hi, im in the uk, just be careful of some holistic dentists,my dentist was supposed to be holistic but only used a dam, nothing else and that was at my request, an extra £40.00 per filling. i would go into harley street, london, and pay for all protection.
you can buy those cacoa nibs in Revital, a health food shop around the uk, i didnt know they detox mercury, but they are recommended.

About my back tooth, i visited him today, and I told him I wanted it removed, he said bad idea, and that it couldnt be removed because the filling had leaked under my gum or something, and that he would have to remove a bit of my gum if I wanted the filling out.

He said it was possible, and that he will try his best to get the filling out on the next visit.

He said if he cannot remove the filling, he'll pull the tooth, but the next time I go, ill tell him that ideally, i want to keep the tooth, so Ill have to tell him, just try your best to remove the filling.

One should never attempt to remove a filling without rubber dam and independent nasal air source. Drilling out a filling without protection can release more mercury in your system than a filling in your mouth could over many many years.

I agree, Jinx is a prime example of what can happen with amalgam removal and no or little protection. Though I had the same in the early stages of removal and didn't seem to notice any real worening of symptoms at that time, but it may not be worth the risk.

It is sad that they have put us in this situation in the first place. Trying to figure out what to do to remove a neurotoxin from our mouths without getting an acute exposure in the process and making things even worse and possibly long term...

Yeah good idea to have yourself protected. But don't necessarily blaim your dentist for becoming ill about 3 days after the removal - it's still the usual part of the healing process and these are candida related symptoms. I had myself protected too, but I became rather ill for many months after the removal.
