Hi
I am fortunate in that i inherited strong teeth so did not get too many fillings. Most of the ones I had have gone since a number of teeth have been removed due to an incompetent dentist and tooth loosening.
Now I am left with two amalgams. One is very large and black and covers the top of the lower back molar, the last one i have, and the other one is small and on the outside of the only tooth I have past the incisors on the other lower side.
I have severe MCS so will not have a good time if I ingest any mercury from replacement.
What i would like to ask is, what would others do? Should i get the molar out (there is not tooth above it so it will not be missed) and get the small one replaced, or just have them both out and a replacement tooth or two put in the empty side? Thanks
