Hi everybody,
My name is Joe. I recently just found this forum. I have some questions and concersn regarding amalgam removal and mercury toxicity.
Heres a little about my background. I have been chronically ill for about 3 yrs with various chronic bacterail illnesses including mycoplasma. Ive tried all sorts of different antibiotics and herbal protocols to get well and nothing has helped greatly. the antibiotics eventually gave me bad candida which i cant get rid of. Prior to me getting ill a was in my senior yr at college when i started nocticing all sorts of different neurological disturbances which eventually permanently disabled me. My most bothersome are brain fog(depersonalization/derealization) and vision problems. Now im trying to regian my health and looking for all the answers.
Bascially, i started removing my fillings a couple months ago through a holistic dentist. I noticed almost immediately some weird mood disturbances which i kind of shrugged off. It started with a dull lifeless feeling and sort of depression. Eventually things started to get worse and i noticed sort of a physical anxiety. My body would just not calm down and it gets to the point where i feel like i need to crawl out of my skin. This feeling then leaves me feeling helpless and i have bouts of crying which i cant control. Is this something that can be common with amalgam removal? Is there anything that can help these symptoms?
On top of that i have loss of appetite, acid reflux and stomach cramps and pains. I also have noticed low back pain in my kidney areas. Can these all be attributed to amalgam replacement?
I have some bloodwork to get done and an ultrasound of my kidneys. I also had a hair test done which i havent recieved the results from yet.
I wanted to removemy fillings to help regain my health and it seems like now i am worse off. I still have 2 quadrants left and i guess i will see what comes up on the hair analysis and go from there.
I guess i just feel helpless. I wanted to be doing the right thing and it feels like things are backfiring.
I guess i just need some advice and reassurance that removing my amalgams is the right thing to do. So if any of you have any advice or words of encouragement i could really use it.
Thank you, Joe

Hi Joe, welcome to the Forum. I'm so sorry that you're feeling so badly and having such a difficult time. Just want you to know that you're not alone there.
I had 17 amalgams and one root-canaled tooth removed 1 1/2 years ago. I was lucky in that I experienced immediate relief in many areas. I did not do any formal chelation because my body just didn't feel strong enough for it.
After the immediate relief however, new or symptoms that had been gone for awhile started recurring and flaring. I was also diagnosed with chronic mycoplasma infections. I finally got a definitive diagnosis recently of Lyme Disease and Lyme Co-Infections (bartonella, mycoplasma).
Have you thought about getting testing for Lyme? Mycoplasma can occur on its own, of course, but sometimes it's an important red flag because it's considered a co-infection with vector (i.e., insect carried) diseases like Lyme.
My Lyme symptoms finally surfaced with more clarity almost a year after my amalgam removals. I've come across some theories that for some people mercury can inhibit Lyme. But that doesn't mean we're supposed to hold on to the mercury that is poisoning us either!
I was able to find a Lyme Literate doctor through my holistic dentist. Also there are alot of good websites that can help in locating LLMD's (Lyme Literate Doctors). From the reading I've done, mercury toxicity, heavy metal toxicity, candida, chronic fatigue, chronic infections all seem to go with Lyme. In order to regain health, we need to try and treat everything -- targeting infections, body weaknesses, detoxing when the body is able to handle it, etc.
Anyway, I just thought I'd mention this in case it might help. I just posted an update thread here on the Forum, it's here if you want to read it.
Oh! And the most important and helpful thing that I did before, during and after amalgam removal was take Algin. You can also try activated charcoal. But I decided to try the Algin that the Forum owner here has had success with. It helped me immensely, I believe, by soaking of all the toxins and mercury that was stirred up and also dumped by my body. Even though my dentist took all the necessary precautions in removal, taking activated charcoal or Algin seemed to be really important.
Warmest regards, Sharon

Hi JoeC, I am really sorry to hear of all this, but think it's very familiar with many on here. I am not sure what your recent replacement may have done, other than possibly exposed you to mercury during this and poisoned you. Replacement materials can sometimes cause issues too, but often because the person is still full of mercury and then becomes sensitised to a lot of things. Sometimes chelating the mercury resolves that.
I am getting cerec porcelain put in my teeth to replace my white plastic fillings, because I feel it is more biocompatible and it is a tougher material, lasts for most of ones lifetime and doesn't tend to leak out its compoenents. It does not appear to contain as many chemicals as the plastics, but all materials have their drawbacks! I know two people on here that had Cerec and they seem to be doing fine with them, one was very chemically sensitive too.
Also, are you on any kind of diet? E.g. candida diet? Because this can be essential to gain control of candida, plus support the body in healing and detoxing. If you have high yeast with all this going on and other bacteria problems, any intake of sugars and high carbs are going to keep you in a continual cycle of keeping these things flourishing and getting the symptoms over and over.
So the diet I believe is the first step, because it's the foundation of everything else. The body, when you eliminate the bad and eat the good, can at the very least gain a little more control and in some instances the improvements can be dramatic. However, it can take weeks or more of patience before results might be seen. Depends on how badly you have it and how toxic you are.
You may also need to take supportive supplements like vitamin C (powder is best), vitamin E, zinc, selenium, and maybe a product called microhydrin, which is also really helpful (mixed with vitamin C).
Diet wise, the best I have found is eating eggs, meats, vegetables (no potatoes, beans, peas because they are very high in natural sugars/carbs), raw nuts (brazil/almonds), sunflower seeds, plain sugar free acidophilus yoghurt and adding enough oils and fats to my diet to support healing (especially the brain) and to aid bile flow. E.g. extra virgin olive oil, mercury free fish oil, butter, etc. I even eat the fat on the meat with meat. And for liquids I have herb tea, water, lemon juice in water, vitamin C in water.
Hal Huggins, who is pretty much an expert on mercury, suggests that a mercury toxic person requires protein to aid healing and should avoid sugar and caffeine. I believe he's right. It's not just about reducing and controlling candida, but it's mainly about supporting healing and health.
I wish I could be more of help, but that is where I would start if you haven't been doing that already. I also had a serum blood test to check what dental materials I was compatible with. I do not know how accurate this test is, but I think it must be pretty good because when I got the results, one of the materials that had been placed in my mouth that I appeared to get coincidentally worse afterwards showed to be "not suitable" on the test.
Again though my body is weakened severely by a bacteria/virus that I got a few years ago, which has been worse on me than the mercury. So this might be why anything impacts me these days.
By the way, did you go to a biologic dentist to have your amalgams replaced? Did you have enough protection during removal? Do you know what materials were put in your teeth? (the names?).

Welcome JoeC and congratulations for figuring out u are mercury toxic. Not many do. Everything you got, I got too.
I just re-read yr post and sorry, my mistake, I was wrong…I don’t get vision problems.

Hi Joe,
I realized that I didn't fully answer your questions in your post. In addition to the outstanding advice you got from Bex here, I thought I'd add another suggestion.
I've had ALOT of your same symptoms both before amalgam removal and then much later afterwards. Mercury toxicity and Lyme and Lyme Co-Infections and also candida share so many of the same symptoms it gets to be hard to know what is the biggest problem and what needs addressing first!
On the Lyme front, there is a test that can be done to help evaluate how much your immune system is challenged by the Lyme and how active the infection is. It's called the CD57 test and LabCorp does it. Your LLMD can order it. Often it's used as an aid in initial diagnosis and it's also used along the way during treatment to gauge progress. The reference range is 60-360. So any number below 60 indicates that Lyme is still a problem for your immune system.
My score on my CD57 test was 36.
Anyway, I just thought I'd mention this in case you want to look into it. It might help you decide where to go from here.

Thank you all for your responses.
I will try and answer some of the questions but i still cant figure out how to respond and see all of your repsonses at the same time.
Anyways, Yes i am seeing one ofthe best holistic dentists in this area. He follows a safe protocol. The chlorella and Iv c with glutithione is recccomended by another dr.
Bex, I am following a strict diet and have been for about a year. I dont eat and breads, yeast, flour products, sugar, caffeine or sugar substitutes. I am also in the process of switching to an all raw vegan diet.
Sharon, I have been tested numerous times for lyme and coinfetcions. I was diagnosed clinically and with aid of a brain spect scan. I never have had the cd57.
Thanks again.

the 3-day delay and then getting worse from removal is absolutely normal, and it has nothing to do with exposure during removal. The 3 days is simply the time it takes for mercury to vanish (or lower greatly) from bloodstream, and the neutrophils of your immune system gets activated. They will start to attack at least the yeast, and you should get unpleasant reactions for months to come.
My kidneys also started hurting after removal, its the yeast debris and destroyed bacterias etc. that gives you also a foamy salivation and foamy urine. In this case, to spare your kidneys, you may need to stop taking any supplements like C vit and glutathione as they increase the rate of killing. My kidneys started hurting more after taking more C vit. I never got to the point where I would have found out how to treat my kidneys before the pain was gone, but I have heard that potassium citrate may help, as the reason for hurting kidneys may simply be a low pH. In any case if you still got amalgams, dont remove them all at once, as the effect of activating your immune system is better done with thresholding, little at time.

Thansk pgm for your response.
I guess i was really concerned that i was doing more damage becuase i also have various other illnesses. But your theory does make sense and i have heard that before. I just didnt expect it to be like this. Hopefully this doesnt last but i am also still taking all the precautions. I want to make sure im not damaging my body more. Thansk again

If u take chorella there is a chance that it will screw you up, some people it really hurts them, some people are fine with it. If u don’t take chorella there is zero chance it will screw you up.
Why take the chance that it “might” be ok when there is an equal chance that it “might” screw you up. And just when your health is being challenged by the amalgam removal too.
As PGM says “the 3-day delay and then getting worse from removal is absolutely normal” I concur…..it is normal. I have just had my last out and it was a hard hard time for me. it is passing now……I am out the other side now thankfully. It always does pass.
With me, I also get a repeat performance, an encore if you like, of this pain & hardship 7 days after, 14 days and 21 days after removal of amalgam. Each time slight less severe. This is something about the way your immune system works on a 7 days cycle. “Amalgam illness” talks about this some more and no I don’t understand it, but it has happened every single time I have had amalgam removed this year. Which is 5 times…each time the same….about 1 month to recover from each. Nice eh?
But……………….i am now amalgam free and that can only be good news.
Think of amalgams like you would a gun shot wound. When you get shot you have to remove the bullets. If u don’t remove the bullets they just fester and healing is very difficult…..picture gangrene and pus and horrid stuff like that. Although is sure does hurt getting the bullets out it has to be done. Same with mercury, until the source is removed, until amalgams are removed, healing is difficult. Unfortunately removing the amalgams hurts. Some more than others. Personally I have found it much more bearable knowing why I’m hurting so much. Which is why I think so highly of “amalgam illness” – at the very least you will realise you are not going mad and all this pain is normal and that it is curable.

Joe: I just read your post again, and it appears you are experiencing a lot of things I did. I won't give specific advice because you just got a lot of great advice from all the above posters. You will find a lot of good tips here by a lot of very smart people - way smarter than me now that mercury has damaged my brain. I think you are on the right track. Read Cutler, all you can and proceed along those lines. I did, and I am doing better than I was - I was really sick for quite a while, but the brain fog and anxiety and all that can get better from chelation. Try a lot of things. Exercise, diet, sleeping enough, the right supplements - it can make a huge difference. But do not be afraid to stop if you feel in your gut something is wrong - sometimes taking a break from everything is the best course of action - at least it has been for me. TW

The neutrophil theory is simply convincing because it can be extended further. When the neutrophils attack the yeast they suicide and unleash acid over the target. That accounts for the sour and perhaps metallic taste of your salivation. And that you got an excessive salivation. It also explains why mercury toxic people are acidic, and why the pH of urine is low. Mercury seems to be incredibly toxic to the functioning of these neutrophils.
Unfortunately foods like fruits, which result in a high pH when eaten, also contain sugar which is bad for yeast. Potassium citrate may indeed be good, but you cant consume much of it, or you'll get excess potassium, which results in heart problems.

They will start to attack at least the yeast, and you should get unpleasant reactions for months to come. PGM, hello mate. I have been thinking about your post the other day. I been thinking about because I’m in the middle of it. Is that right? Where did u learn that? I looked up neutrophils and found this: “Neutrophils are the most common type of white blood cell, comprising about 50-70% of all white blood cells. They are phagocytic, meaning that they can ingest other cells, though they do not survive the act. Neutrophils are the first immune cells to arrive at a site of infection, through a process known as chemotaxis. Though neutrophils are short lived, with a half-life of four to ten hours when not activated and immediate death upon ingesting a pathogen, they are plentiful and responsible for the bulk of an immune response. They are the main component of pus and responsible for its whitish color. Neutrophils are present in the bloodstream until signaled to a site of infection by chemical cues in the body. They are fast acting, arriving at the site of infection within an hour. Before ingesting invasive bacteria, neutrophils can release a net of fibers called a neutrophil extracellular trap (NET), which serves to trap and kill microbes outside of the cell. When neutrophils ingest microbes, they release a number of proteins in primary, secondary, and tertiary granules that help kill the bacteria. They also release superoxide, which becomes converted into hypochlorous acid, or chlorine bleach, which is theorized to play a part in killing microbes as well. A deficiency of neutrophils is called neutropenia and may be congenital or acquired, for example in certain kinds of anemia and leukemia, or as a side effect of chemotherapy. Since neutrophils are such an important part of the immune response, a lowered neutrophil count results in a compromised immune system. Neutrophils may also malfunction, causing more harm to the body than they prevent. In alpha 1-antitrypsin deficiency, for example, inflammation, part of a normal immune response, leads to tissue damage. In Familial Mediterranean fever, the immune response is also so acute and prolonged that it can lead to a number of dangerous complications. “

Hi Sunshine. It seems my statement is original thinking, I couldn't find the 3 day stuff anywhere else, but thought it would be obvious since I have seen so many people saying it.

Cool, I like a bit of original thinking. Once I’d looked up what “neutrophils” meant then yeah I agree that does seem reasonable/plausible/rational. This would also explain a bit about the symptoms returning 7/14/21 days after. Your body is challenged, neutrophils are activated and start doing their business helping to heal and rid the body of toxins. Then because the immune system works on a 7 day cycle it repeats again 7/14/21 days after, each time slightly less.
Nice…..i can see that now.
Thanks PGM

I haven't read what Cutler and Huggins have written, but I would be careful about attributing many of the detox symptoms to mercury. I did an experiment and asked a friend who did also have a few amalgams to remove them and start to detox with ALA. He never had a problem with his amalgams, and didn't get any side-effects from detoxing. His amalgams were also worn, but he had more of them than I, but I'm still struggling with detoxing soon 1 year after the removal. I am sure ALA takes out some mercury from my friend too, but he simply does not get any detox effects. So, I would say the detox symtoms are mainly from die-offs of candida and other parasites. If you havent obtained them, despite having been exposed to mercury, then you don't appear to get any detox symptoms even if mercury comes out.

I have wondered about the symptoms myself and Mercola's Protocol. I was raised here in west texas around the border towns and have eaten cilantro and garlic all my life, with my amalgams in. Garlic was what I was taking for so long and was doing ok up until a couple of weeks ago. That could be die off though because I can lay off for a few days and then I do ok with it again for awhile. Have been eating some organic cilantro lately and seems to be agreeing with me. I have been raised on mexican food and cilantro, garlic, and onions are always in the recipe. So I feel like my body is just used to these types of food and handles it well. Something familiar. I took the chlorella too for about 6 months and then could not tolerate it. I tried it again and still do not tolerate it. I believe it's a rough one to handle. Mercola does have some good info but some stuff doesn't ring true.

Hi Pgm, your friend probably had no issues with his amalgams because his body may have been very adept at eliminating any mercury, plus he may have a good immunity as well. Removing his amalgams and chelating, may have made no impact on him, due to the fact they didn't make him sick in the first place...and possibly if they were very old, the mercury may have been quite minimal.
But those of us who have most definitely been made ill by amalgams, are usually in a state of no longer eliminating what is coming in. Storing up more of the toxins and then having often incredible symptoms after using a product that has an affinity for either chelating or mobilising mercury is very obvious to a person when it happens as to what it is.
That in itself is a strong indicator of there being mercury in the system. I do not know of any mercury detox product that kills off candida, so my symptoms were not related to candida die off, but rather movement of metals.
My die off symptoms from candida were different that detox from metals. I would get dizzy from the alcohols coming off from dying yeast (almost drunk), the typical headache, sleepiness etc. That was from a strict diet and nothing else.
However, when I used a very strong antifungal, I also dumped not only yeast toxins, but a load of metals with it. I then got symptoms of not just yeast, but heavy metal poisoning. I could not improve from this until I used mercury chelating products, yet another proof of metal poisoning.
Apparently testing was done after use of strong antifungals (obviously in metal toxic patients) and they found that the urine showed much higher levels of metal/mercury after antifungal use. Yeast is known to have the ability to hold its own weight in mercury, so this would make sense.
Once my amalgams were all out, my body did indeed begin to dump the storage of mercury and the symptoms were classic poisoning. And in inducing movment of metals through chelation, or using exercise, sweat/heat, would also produce extreme symptoms. I would stink of metal as it came out of my pores and was lucky to discover some improvement after it. But during it, I was a total mess.
Metal taste in the mouth maybe attributed to other things at times, but for me? I knew full well what it was, And the rashes over my entire body from mercury coming out, was seen by other people. This only occured after a DMPS infection, which dumped the mercury into accessible areas and forced my body to excrete it and it came out via the skin. That too eventually allowed for improvement, but was a pretty awful way to gain it.
Candida during that time, was not the problem for me. If I took anything at all that could move or chelate mercury, the symptoms could be extreme and very obviousy mercurial. I no longer get this because the issues I have no are not related to mercury as such, but rather candida and infection.
Detox effects cannot be from candida or parasites if a person is using products unrelated to killing candida, like DMSA, ALA, etc. But it could be if they are using garlic or some other strong antifungal, that could both kill candida and mobilise metals, or they are on a strict candida diet. I believe that both metals and yeast can cause similar symptoms though.

You said that old amagams are not as bad as the mercury will be quite minimal. Mine are old, between 30-40 years old. Does that mean they are not giving off fumes now?

30-40 years is a long time to have amalgams, and I have indeed heard that the amount of mercury by that stage is less.. For me? if I had tried other ways to improve my health with little or no results, I'd still look at having them replaced personally.

Thanks Bex. I'll probably get some tests done though I heard that a dentist in London UK has an instrument that shows if mercury is vaporising from a tooth.

Mati I don't think that is true. My amalgams were 15 years old and I noticed improvements 2 weeks after removal. You can watch a very old filling giving off fumes here: http://iaomt.org/videos/

Bg123, I had heard this a number of times, so wasn't sure how true it was. Something I'd not rely upon however. Better to err on the side of caution and have the stuff out.
Plus, my own Mother has had the same amalgams for many years and had gold put in as well. She got far worse after the gold went in and all I could think of was the galvanic issue, with differing metals in the same mouth, which is even worse! And similar to braces, which increase the uptake of mercury (as it did with me).
Thanks for the link, this confirms it!

Detox effects cannot be from candida or parasites if a person is using products unrelated to killing candida, like DMSA, ALA, etc. The problem is that many detox agents has effects on candida and parasites as well. ALA - I haven't seen much advertisement on the usage against candida, but ALA, being a master anti-oxidant, and going everywhere in the body, and raising glutathione must be effective against systemic candida. This is also why it is effective for patients suffering from AIDS or diabetes (they also have candida, because of lowered immunity). DMSA - causes some form of mild neutropenia (the same thing that mercury appears to cause), makes die-off reactions more manageable, but slows down the body's ability to fight yeast & parasites. Garlic - certainly an efficient anti-fungal, but also claimed to be a mercury chelator. Cilantro - also an anti-fungal and anti-bacterial, but also claimed to chelate mercury and the list goes on..

Hi pgm, raising gluthathione levels from alpha lipoic acid I understand, plus using selenium, undenatured whey, etc which do the same. But these things also encourage mercury detox, and alpha lipoic acid directly chelates metals powerfully. And is advised it not be used until later in the programme because it crosses the blood brain barrier. Perhaps there is some candida die off involved but certainly the difference between candida die off and mercury detox can be quite marked in people who recognise their own body symptoms. Though I know the two often cross over.
I know people who have left here already from getting well after amalgam removal and proper detox, who never got well from candida treatments or parasite treatments....Many on here as you can see are already treating their candida and parasites, but so often this is far from enough. Usually there is something allowing these things to thrive and whether it's mercury or something condition that has lowered the immune system, obviously the amalgam path is a pretty obvious one to follow. It is so often at the bottom of many conditions like this.
DMSA and ALA both can feed yeast and cause it to flare up at the sametime, which is why people often have problem during their detoxing. So increasing glutathione by using ALA, may not outweigh the fact it apparently can also flare up/feed yeast. In fact, it is worse than DMSA for doing this. DMSA does not feed yeast as much, but as you said the neutropenia problem is there. Both have some drawbacks. Candida die off maybe unlikely during the use of either or both of these and often people have had to use some form of antifungal during the use of these products to help control this. It could also be due to the moving around of metals, which can flare yeast up.
I definitely got results by treating my candida, but the underlying problem remained until I discovered the amalgam toxicity. By removing amalgam, many of my food intolerances gradually lessened, candida did not have to be constantly treated as vigilantly, but this took time because detoxing mercury can flare up candida also. But after enough detox of metals, many things improved for me.
Now I have severe problems with candida from a permanent viral infection and this time they are continual. No detoxing works for me anymore. I still treat candida, but with little results. Antifungals are not that effective on me now either.
Cilantro an antifungal? I have never heard this before.
At any rate, die off from candida, may be different to mercury detox symptoms, but im sure both happen simultaneously. However in my experience, many times the yeast would flare up and often grow when I was under the strain of detoxing metals or the chelating agents themselves.

Hi Bex I was wondering what viral infection you have. When I went to my natural doc 7 months ago they told me I have 6 viruses running high in my body. There is nothing you can do to get the virus under control? I know you can't get rid of it but can't you get your immune system to control it. I was really hoping that when my gut was healed and candida was gone that my immune system would put these viruses back to a manageable state. I am puzzled if the virus is making it harder for the candida to clear then how can you get the virus under control? One of my viruses are polio in the muscles, compliments to my government and their dang vaccines. More mind boggling research LOL
A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Hi skies, I wish I knew "what" it really was. Some volatile bacteria or virus got into my system. Here is a link where I talk about what happened and how http://herballure.com/ubbthreads/sh...er=245754&Main=245754#Post245754But I have no name for it, no idea what on earth it could have been and no ability to test for it, seeing as they don't seem to know what to test for and the typical tests are glandular fever, epstein barr, cytomegalovirus, etc, which I have in my system and many people do. But this? A mystery and a horrible one at that, never thought something could have such an impact on my life. I thought mercury was bad and it was, but this has debilitated me permanently with no hope of detoxing it. It just stays there no matter what I do or take. Like you said, one thing offsets the other. The virus causes ongoing yeast overgrowth, the overgrowth frustrates ability to handle virus, both keep eachother going it would seem. I am really sorry to hear of your own!!! Horrible aren't they? THey stick around and remain in the system. Most viruses go dorment, the body fights them and immunity keeps them in check. They can be reactivated, but this one I got has never been improved upon. If I do no exercise and stick to a strict diet, sometimes I'll get a bit of relief. If I exercise and go over the limit even remotely, I can be near bedridden trying to recover with sore throat, fever, severe depression, coughing, pounding heart, chest pains, chest restriction, asthma, horrible brain symptoms that I truly cannot explain.

Hi Bex. I don't think ALA flares up candida, its an anti-oxidant that doesn't contain substances that the candida wants. In addition there is too little of it (some tens of mg's to be feed candida). I doubt a few tens of mg's of even sugar would impact candida much either. I have learned anti-oxidants rather boost the immune system, than feeding candida, and causes Herx reactions to some (including me). I can't say I could distinguish between yeast flare- ups and Herx reactions, however.
I agree fully to the fact that your immune system modulates strongly the efficiency of whatever substances you take to kill pathogens, and everyone should be aware of this. I also did an experiment with this, had to take at least 10 x more garlic to have similar effects before amalgam removal than after it. I'm increasingly finding me in a situation that it's best to take nothing, because my body deals with the pathogens well enough for itself. I should be happy that amalgam removal was the key to get my immune system back online, without it, its hopeless to try to fight pathogens like candida.

Hi pgm, I'm pretty sure that Andy Cutler spoke about this, but he does not think it's significant enough that it's a big issue. I realise it's an antioxidant, and is excellent for the liver, but there is something else in ALA that apparently can most definitely flare yeast up if it's taken in the frequent dose manner. Not just that side of it, but the fact of moving metals around and the strain of that in itself.
I used to be on the frequent dose forum with plenty of people there discussing their yeast issues flaring when chelating and having to treat it more strictly during that time and that was the same for myself also. DMSA is another issue with that. DMPS apparently not nearly as much.
I remember chelating and any cheats during or just after that time would be much worse than otherwise. I think a person is more vulnerable during detox too.
I'm glad that the amalgam removal proved the key to improving your immunity! :-) Some people take years of detox after amalgam removal to come to that realisation. It would be great if removal alone was enough!
