<p class="style29">Dear TVC Supporter: </p>
<p class="style29"><img src="http://www.traditionalvalues.org/images/AndreaCannnon222.jpg" width="222" height="244" hspace="5" align="left" />I’m writing this late Monday night after returning from the House Rules Committee hearing on the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA, H.R. 3685).</p>
<p class="style29">I learned late this afternoon that ENDA will likely be voted on tomorrow. </p>
<p class="style29">It is essential that you call your legislator first thing tomorrow morning and ask them to vote NO on ENDA. </p>
<p class="style29">There will be three amendments offered on this bill tomorrow. One to be offered by Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) will specifically add “gender identity” to ENDA – thus making cross-dressers, drag queens, she-males and transsexuals as federally-protected minorities. </p>
<p class="style29">The strategic plan appears to be to permit lesbian legislator Tammy Baldwin to offer her amendment to ENDA that includes “gender identity.” After a debate on her amendment, it expected that she will then pull the amendment from consideration.</p>
<p class="style29">The second amendment George Miller (D-CA) is yet another unclear “fix”. This amendment fails to address concerns about marriage and instead makes the bill more confusing, leading to further litigation.</p>
<p class="style29">The third is the Souder Amendment (R-IN) – to prohibit employers from conditioning employment on a person being married or being eligible to be married.</p>
<p class="style29">Any version of ENDA makes “sexual orientation” a federally-protected minority group. This sexual behavior can be expanded at will by homosexual and she-males activists through costly lawsuits against businesses. </p>
<p class="style29">Sexual orientation will eventually cover the <U><a href="http://www.traditionalvalues.org/pdf_files/SexualOrientationsDSMRev.pdf">30 sexual orientations</a></U> described by the American Psychiatric Association’s <em>Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).</em> ENDA also includes the terms “actual or perceived,” sexual orientation – which can mean anything a person wants it to mean!</p>
<p class="style29">Call your legislator immediately and ask that they vote NO on Miller, vote YES on Souder, and Vote NO on ENDA. ENDA cannot be fixed. It must be defeated. </p>
<p align="center" class="style29"><strong>TAKE ACTION:</strong> Defeat ENDA. Call your legislator tomorrow morning.
