<img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheerleader.gif" alt="" /> !HAPPY BIRTHDAY! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheerleader.gif" alt="" />
Good to see you.
It was a really long time before I figured it out... 46-47 years. Matter of fact i just figured it out this year. But looking back now i can see tell tale signs of mercury problems obviously.
But you know, for me, life is such an adventure, not very much keeps me down for very long and I tend to heal pretty quickly, always have. Keeping a positive outlook is real important. I always tell myself I am stronger than whatever is bothering me and up and out the door I go and I most always feel better in the morning. The stress factor is an important consideration too I am real sure. In the past 25 years I have only worked a steady job for about 3 of those years, jobs with other companies, and the rest I have been self employed which always gave me the freedom of setting my own hours and the ability to sleep late if I needed to. That in itself is probably one of the biggest assets to my good health, even when I am not in the best of health. Having something positive to look forward to everyday and downline too, real important. During all of this I maybe sat around moping for only two weeks or so, because i really was in really bad shape, numb all over but I found a great doctor and somehow dragged myself in the first few weeks because it was a long drive.., I even hit the ski slopes a few times last winter because I couldn't resist the sight of snow, even when every bone in my body ached, and it helped me every time. If I had sat around moping and crying, even though a big part of me wanted to do that, it would have only made me feel worse I have no doubt.
Really important to keep a positive outlook, have people around that you love and want to be there for, have things on the agenda that you love to do and that nothing will keep you from. I may have had slight mercury poisoning all my life but undoubtedly my health has always been better than lots of people I know because i get out the door and I work hard and I play hard. I try to eat a good diet. I take the time to do a nice garden so we have clean homegrown veggies. all things considered I might otherwise be deathly ill but I won't accept that and so I keep going and it works for me. Plus, big plus, and the love of Jesus.
All these things combine for a really positive outlook, and my health reflects that, mercury poisoning or not.
My daughter does not have any fillings, she's 13 now, and the kid is so lazy sometimes. i was never like that, and I have had amalgam fillings, a dozen or so at the highest (only a few left now) since the age of 8 or 9. I was never sick as a kid, I played all sorts of sports, she can barely get her behind out the door for a bike ride... I recall quite a few foggy head days but they always passed. so, to blame all of my problems on mercury doesn't makes sense to me, it never will. Life is a huge combination of factors far as I can tell, and mercury is probably just a drop in the bucket. Yes! I still smoke too! The chem free stuff though, the packaged pre-rolled tobacco makes me vomit. I try not to smoke too much though.
I have 2 sisters and a brother, all of whom have mouths full of amalgam fillings and they are all in good health too, except one sister who has some other issues related more to her deviant alcohol and weed reliant lifestyle.
