Hi Welcome to the forum; These symptoms can definitely be attributed to mercury toxicity or that of another heavy metal;either directly or indirectly. But not necessarily, it could be another cause or combination of causes.(ex.food/chemical/other allergies,hormonal/other imbalances, bloodsugar problems,) I suppose it's a catch 22 situation where mercury toxicity can also create all of these problems, which in turn can cause anxiety etc...
I suffered from anxiety/panic disorder for years, I could not leave my house for long periods of time, sometimes even had anxiety leaving the room, for weeks some times, this went on in stages over a period of a couple of years. I have heard a few people on this forum also mention feeling this way.
Had anyone had these conditions improve after detoxing?
I find I get anxious at times now that I am detoxing, but that is probably because all of my symptoms have been making a reappearance the last while, anxiety had disappeared for a long time,is back but no where near as bad actually mild in comparison & now I have more coping skills &know how to handle it. The first time you have a panic attack, you can think you are dying, but as you realise what's happening you can do things to help yourself, such as breathing properly. For me I always need to drink water and eat something, 90% of the time a drop in blood sugar that has caused my anxiety.
The mare I learn about anxiety/panic,the less frightened I am when it happens,I see it now as my bodies alarm for me to take notice and take care/attend to a problem.
I live in Ireland, there is a woman here who specialises in helping people with these problems, she published a book called "When Panic Attacks" her name is Aine Tubridy,This helped me a huge amount,it is for panic sufferers like the Andrew Cutler book is for mercury toxic people. Knowing exactly what is happening to your body can be half the battle.
What is GAD? Have you any metal in you? Again welcome to the forum <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/byebye.gif" alt="" /> didn't mean to write sooo much <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/zzz.gif" alt="" />
