Hi Fuggles and welcome. What Bex says is correct, everyone handles sulphur differently. If u really want to know if that applies to you, you should consider doing a sulphur challenge test. You exclude all sulphur foods for 1 week. Then after a week eat some sulphur foods and see how you feel. If u feel better then sulphur foods are good for you. If u feel worse then u need to avoid them.

Errrrrmmmm….but before you rush off and do that…..

That’s what I did, unintentionally. I excluded all sulphur foods then ate loads of sulphur foods and boy oh boy…ouch! Too much. Stupid me! I learned the hard way, I over did the sulphur foods and it hurt like hell. So…..just a little test, with a littlel amount of sulphur food.

I was doing a veg juice cleanse and I drank a pint of juiced leeks, must have been 5 or 6 leeks in that juice……LOL…..f* that was stupid….LOL! I can laugh now but wasn’t in the slightest bit then.

If you have ever noticed any problems with sulphur foods, like eggs, cabbages etc then tread carefully.
