I am not quite sure about having anything to do with "that time of the month" for me. I guess I really should pay more attention, but I DO get those same pains. Sometimes I get them in the area you describe, sometimes my head and scalp get them, and sometimes my back/hips/waist area. I want my husband to massage me so bad, but when he does (when I'm hurting like that), I cry, because it hurts worse after he does. I tell him my whole body feels like it's BRUISED. It just hurts to touch these areas, and I'm not sure what sets it off. Right now I don't have any bruised feelings, and I have felt GREAT the last couple of days...again, I don't know WHAT brings on the good and bad days for those of us that are "mercury ill", but I've actually felt alive since Monday...almost like a normal person. If I could feel like this all the time, I would be so happy. I know it won't last, though.

BTW, I still have all of my amalgams.

Hi Melissa
A year ago i started having problems monthly. I started hurting up under my diaphram and all around my lower stomach. The pain would start as soon as the egg dropped and all the way through my period. I also have a tubal. Well when I finally went to the doctor I had h-pylori. I had ulcers all the way through my digestive system. Well we got the h-pylori cured but I was still having problems monthly same time every month and still do. This month has been the easiest since this started a year ago. I am also menopausal at 46. When all this started I was working for 7 old ladies and I thought I was just experiencing menopause and so I asked all of them what it was like. No one could tell me ....they all had histerectomies. Thanks to the medical field I still did not know what menopause was like. My thoughts were no one could deal with this every month...no wonder they had histerectomies. Ok so i have done some research and I feel all of this started because I was so toxic. I have been reading alot on the liver and how it all works. So far I have found out that when the liver gets backed up and overworked it will use the lower abdomen to dump excess toxins that it can't deal with at that time. That is why we end up with cysts on the ovaries or other female problems. I also read that this is the way we get ulcers too. I also feel it has alot to do with the lymph drainage. I have been doing some light excercises, walking, riding a stationary bike, lifting some 1lb weights and also I have been jumping on a little matteress every day. The jumping helps move the lymph system. The lymph system does not have a pump so the exercising gets it going especially the jumping action. I have also been doing the oil pulling every morning. I think it is helping me. I am also going to do a the castor oil packs for the liver as soon as i can. I wonder sometimes what the body does with the egg since we have a tubal. My theory is that we got so toxic that the body just can't deal with everything every month. Well I hope this helps and here is a link to look at on the liver and female problems. Also look under the liver flushing thread on this site....there are alot of good links on the liver. I hope this helps a little and hang in there I know what you are going through and it always helps to ask someone going through the same things. web pagehttp://www.sensiblehealth.com/Journey-05.xhtml[/url]

Thanks for the answers i will deffinantly look at the liver flushes.I had my gallbladder removed and had pancreatitis back in 92 so i never really thought about the liver. It just struck me weird 'cuz this is yet another new symptom.I had a upper and lower G.I done last year because of all the heartburn and they didnt find anything.I woke up this morning a little better not the intense pain just the bruised feeling.I guess just another new one for me.I guess being lucky with not having cramping periods for 25 yrs is over. Each time I get a new symptom I feel like sending the Dentist a bill that did this to me.I wish i would go with menopause so i could get done with that but at 35 my doc says about 5-10 yrs my mom went through it about 3yrs and shes still having hot flashes, but she no longer has her period or mood swings(thank god) but she was taking some kind of pill from the health store that really helped her.Well thanks for letting me vent and for calming me down.

I know I wish I could send my dentist a bill also LOL!!
I never had problems with my periods either....always had it easy. I always wondered why some women complain and then this hit me and well it really sucked. This month has gotten better but still some problems. I also started taking vitex and evening primrose last month so that could have helped. I also started taking a new probiotic called Dr Ohhira's probiotics 12 plus. I believe it was the probiotics that helped the most. They have alot of good stuff in them and I feel like my body was needing something from these. The vitex might help you, it is suppose to help regulate the hormones.
Well I hope this helps and hang in there. Did they tell you why you had pancreatitis. Just curious, my mom had that at one time.
Take care!!!

Hi mommy 24
I have that same problem with the bruised all over feeling. Some days are worse than others. Before I finished with amalgam removal I got real sick and those easy days increasingly became worse until I did not see any good days at all. It has been almost seven months since removal and I am finally seeing a few good days again. I can say this on the good days ....they are really good days.
So hang in there and when you get your amalgams out you can start chelating and see some better days also. BTW I recently was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia which is in essence mercury poisoning or toxcicity whatever you want to call it.
Take Care

Hi skieslimit, i'll surly try the vitrex.I had pancreatitis when i was 21.the docs said that some gall stones fell into the pancreas and had to go in and get them out then had two wait for my pancreas to go down for two weeks then I had my gall bladder removed but they dont know what caused the gallstones at that age I think maybe birth control.I had gotten norplant put in a year prior then got them removed and got my tubes tied then three days later i wound up with the pancreatitis.

So far, so good this week. It is Friday, and other than the burning/tingling in my mouth, that rarely goes away (feels like galvanism or something), and my feet being hot and sweaty (it turned chilly here so I'm wearing socks and shoes more often...yuck! It makes me sweat!)...I'm doing pretty good.

It is so nice to meet you, it sounds like we have some things in common. I am 36, I had my gallbladder out in 1991 (still wonder if mercury has any effect on this, lots of people seem to be having them out), and I have chronic heartburn. They never seem to find anything wrong with me, only write me prescriptions for their drugs that don't work.

I am so hoping to start getting them out soon. The dentist that wants to do it is 2 hrs away, and charges an arm and a leg. He quoted me $17,000 last year, to do my whole mouth, and they acted like they wanted me to pay for it right then. There's no way. I have so many probs tho, I have BIG amalgams on my molars, and one with a root canal. They are so big and bad, the dentist doesn't know if he can save anything there, and said an IDIOT must've done that, because I never should have had THAT big of fillings on my teeth...they should've done something else.

So, anyway, they told me they all have to be crowned, but to save some money I could have 1 molar on each quadrant pulled BUT on the bottom right, I have a "never finished" root canal next to the back tooth, and they are afraid to pull the back one, in case they need to do a bridge, if they run into problems. The root canaled one is leaking mercury into my bloodstream, and it's all so scary. I saw it on the x-ray. You know how they x-ray you with the amalgam in your mouth, it glows or shines on the x-ray??? Well mine is also "glowing" under my gumline, and in my jawbone, under this root canal tooth. It is SO SCARY!!! So, when it got drilled, the other dentist drilled right through a large filling, and rammed all the into my jawbone.

I have to figure out how to afford it, the rest of them are making my teeth start to crack and exposing me to so much.

it seems we have evan more in common! 2 1/2 years ago I finally had insurance hadnt been to a dentist since i was 15. They dentist did 21 filling in 16 teeth all my upper and lower molars with in 1 months time the last fillings put me in the hospital. my face dropped and I couldnt talk and my head felt like it was going to burst. They thought for sure I was having a stroke it came back negitive for that so they deemed it a migrain headache also my left pupil has been dialated ever since.I had this head ache for a month called the dentist and he sent me to an oral surgeon that told me you are fine nothings wrong your probley just stressed out from trying to start your business, well I told him where to go and left. Then went to another dentist he told me tmj and drilled out alot of the fillings my bite was off by 1 1/2 inches because the first dentist beaded my teeth togeather with the fillings and thats what started my journey to the mercury hell....I kept getting sicker and sicker couldnt wallk my husband (mind you i had only been married about 6 mos) had to dress, bath, cook, clean, work during this time.I seen alot of docs and they didnt know what the heck was happening to me.I got diagnosed M.S started intensive physical therapy and was finnally able to walk again but still had dizzy spells and all the mercury symtoms. I wouldnt except that diagnosis of M.S because I was fine until i got my teeth done so I did alot of research came across D.A.M.S web site and called them they sent me a list of mercury free dentist for florida.I seen a dentist that was 1 hour away he looked in my mouth and said "oh my god what has he done to you" instead of taking out the fillings and getting bridges done we decided to pull the teeth and do partials because evan with bridges and stuff your ultimently going to get dentures when your older so why bother suffering again.Made since to me so I have four to go then i will start the detox phase.so you might want to try that route i dont have insurace and my dentist is only charging 60 a tooth and there all molars. Also Dentist.Amalgam Mercury Syndrome has financial assistance for people.I didnt find that out till half way through the game DAMS phone number is 800-311-6265 they will send you info packet and a list of dentist for you to use.Jigsaw health foundation 206-283-0553 they will replace fillings or pull them thats up to you. My total mouth with partials and teeth being pulled is 3300 but thats with 600 from 2 wisdom teeth.I hope they can set you up with the right dentist.alot of the dentists from DAMS list dont try to rob you they are adiment on getting this poison out. Please call them I dont know where your located but they have people all over the u.s and over seas.Hal Huggins started this org.I belive.

Hi Mellissa and Mommy24
I just wanted to tell you all of my dental work has costed me a bundle, around 6000 so far. I started this 6 years ago. I just wanted to say I didn't have the money either but by the grace of GOD I have managed to get the amalgams out. So don't give up. It's all so hard to go through but it is well worth it...so keep on going.

Well, I have never called DAMS for their packet, but any dentists that remove amalgam around here are FEW and far between. The dentist 2 hours from me is the closest, and there's another about 2 1/2 or 3 hours from me, and then the others are out of state or over 4 hours. I haven't been able to understand how I can live so close to a metropolitan area (use to live in it, now I am in a small town 30 min out) of over half a million people, and probably a couple hundred dentists, and no one safely removes there.

All of these dentists that remove, require payment at the time of service, and we DO have insurance, then the insurance will reimburse what they see fit, but sometimes it all just jumbles my brain. I *think* I can probably get insurance to cover quite a bit, since the amalgams are so old, and I have a feeling that the dentists can "pull it off" and file where it makes most of the procedures covered, BUT I have to come up with ALL the money, at least for a quadrant, at one time, so I can do that. They really wanted to do me all at once if they could, because they said my mouth was in SUCH bad shape, that it wouldn't be long before I would be incapacitated. They actually suggested I boost my immune system with vitamin C, and Oregano Juice, and it helped get me out of a slump. The Oregano Juice is the worst stuff you will ever taste, but is very powerful, and I actually have acquired a taste for it now, because I know it's good for me. I have been off of it awhile, but I started taking it again last week, and I really feel that is what is responsible for me feeling better this week.

BTW, Jigsaw Foundation is no more. I gave them my story, and also talked to Patrick Sullivan by phone towards the end of last year, first of this year, and they really wanted to help me, but didn't have the funds. They have always been wonderful to me, and kept in contact with me, but let me know that the foundation came to an end, because they just had too many people to help, and not enough funds to help them. They said, maybe it just wasn't the time for a foundation like that, because I guess they are still having a hard time getting people to believe it, resulting in donations.
I am disappointed in them, and feel it was a cop out, because if they could at least help ONE person once in awhile, that would be better than none.

BTW, I had a crown and a filling when I was 17, and I think it did a little damage to me. I have a feeling that those are what started everything, and then I started having gallbladder trouble at 19, immediately after my oldest daughter was born. Then I spent 9 months vomiting and ruining the enamel on my teeth. Then when I was getting ready to turn 21, I thought I was doing something really good for myself by getting my teeth fixed. Little did I know, I was killing myself. As soon as I got the fillings done (had ALL of them done withing 2 weeks time, as I was on state medical coverage that ends when you're 21), got them all done by my birthday, and then I took DEATHLY sick. I couldn't eat, breathe, I OD'd on Tylenol for the pain, because that's all I had, and probably damaged my liver. My whole face swelled, mouth, tongue...I can't even describe it. I called the dentist and he told me to "take a tylenol". He was a real jerk, because he knew I no longer had insurance, and he refused to see me. I went to another dentist, and he said I was "allergic" to all of my fillings, and he had to give me an antibiotic. I have never figured that one out...I was so sick and so swelled up, and he gave me an antibiotic. Anyway, he told me that if the antibiotic didn't help, that I needed all my fillings drilled back out and replaced with "medicated fillings" whatever that meant. I had no money, and no insurance, so I was doomed with a mouth full of poison. The antibiotic actually did help, and I thought I was home free, but I was NEVER right again, and I never understood what was causing it.

Anyway, I've talked your ears off. lol
I am so glad I've come back, and met you guys to talk to.

Hi Mikey,
Yes, that is the one that I have seen. People travel hundreds of miles to see him. I am in Oxford, KS. Just a little town, we are not far from Oklahoma, but I still can't find anyone closer than the one in Caney. Have been hoping to find one in Wichita, so if you ever hear of one there, I would be so happy!!!

Thank you for helping me look!!
