just read in the nutritional healing guide ,third edition, that if you suffer from hypothyroidism than the followings foods should be avoided: broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, kale, mustard greens peaches, pears, radishes, spinach and turnips ( note: people suffering from hyperthyroidism should include the above mentioned foods to lower thyroid hormones )
foods that help with hypothyroidism : apricots, dates, egg yolks, molasses, parsley, potatoes, prunes raw seeds, chicken ,raw milk, and whole grains.
I started eating cabbage and broccoli about three weeks ago and have been feeling worse ,maybe another piece of the puzzle for me ?

Hey Mikey. From what I understand people who are heavy metal toxic can swing back and forth to hyper to hypo. I have TSH results in the .30 range as well as scores in the 3.0 range.
Gosh, it would be difficult to know what foods to eat or avoid if our TSH was all over the place. More pieces to the puzzle. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/pacing.gif" alt="" />

good point ,unless you get lab tested daily ,it is hard to know how the thyroid is doing daily , but hopefully this info may help someones hypo or hyper condition that may be eating the wrong foods and can't explain why they may be feeling bad
