There's a travel purifier at www.homehealth-uk.com/medical/aquatraveller.htm (can send overseas) £35, $70 that can use river water & filters 375 litres. www.environment-agency.gov.uk/yourenv/eff/1190084/water/213902/river_qual/?version=1&lang=_e has a UK website for finding the cleanest river.

US: www.berkeywater.com/start.main.htm sell the BerkeyTravel at $100. Or see http://stuff.silverorange.com/archives/2005/october/steripenwater from www.uvaquastar.com
