[color:"blue"]I have been taking Natures Sunshine yeast/fungal pills on and off whenever I can afford it since Feb 2006. Whenever I am on it I have noticed my eyes ( the iris) start losing that rusty redish brown color and start getting green with an underlying blueish under the green in spots like how they looked when I was a kid and free from poor health.
Has anyone else heard of our eyes changing colors while detoxing? I wonder why having candida makes the eyes into a color they are not?
The brown my eyes had/has is not like the brown of a person who is naturaly brown eyed. But instead it was/is a rusty brown color. [/color]

Yes, this is interesting. Eyes change significantly when your health changes. Iridology is the study of the iris in order to find problems in the body. I have brown eyes that, after being read by 2 iridologists several years apart, both said that I actually have blue eyes that have a brown covering on them. This covering will go away with time. Amazingly, even though this is fairly rare, my business partner's eyes actually changed color from brown to medium greenish/blue when she went on Cascara Sagrada for several months. I'm not kidding. Her eyes completely changed color and I witnessed it myself. Although my eyes are slowly getting lighter and possibly more greenish, I'm jealous that it happened for her so fast. We also know a natural health practitioner who had the same thing happen.

Yes, it is interesting. I have been on a strict candida diet for four weeks now and one of the first things I noticed was my eyes. For the last three years my eye colour has gone from very sea green to hazel almost grey. Well ... within two weeks of cleansing, my eyes are back to normal. So there is something to it. It's a great feeling to be able to go without glasses too because my eyesight has improved ten-fold. Candida is an extremely taxing disorder on our bodies. I have found this out through a journey that started a few years back when I picked up a very serious bacterial infection from the tiniest of cuts. After five days of intravenous antiobiotics, my system must have been depleted of all the good stuff.
