Found out from NHS direct today that the reason i cant absorb B12 or Foic acid, and my red blood cell count and the wrong shape is all down to the Iron overload in my body. Just wondering if anyone else had had too much Iron and where it comes from. Could still be Genetic, still waiting for results but wondered if anyone had encountered this before, I can't think of a source. Love Tracy

hi tracy, i just read about your condition,it is genetic and very serious. you can get treatment by removal of blood, have you looked into this, hugs dawn xx

I know I am in big trouble. All they can do is take a pint of blood from me a week and give me b12 shots, They cant mend my heart, liver, or spleen, just keep me alive for who knows how long. Plus I still wont feel well. Feel so sad and lonley. All family will have to be tested. It also goes into your brain like any other metal and sends you bonkers What a life. Tracy x

It seems mercury symptoms could also go either way for anemia or hemachromatosis

Dear Kriminal had special Generic test had private hospital. They test for specific chromosone abnormalities which are Generic in your family. Tired now will explain more tomorrow.
