Hi All,

I'm actually going to call the company to see if I can find out for certain whether "dimethacrylic esters" is synonymous with methacrylate (Bis-GMA). Especially since this is what is in my mouth.

I've read that methacrylate can cause elevated estrogen levels in the body. If this is true, the following observations I've made from my own experience makes me think that DiamondLite may be truly free of methacrylate...here's why I think this:

Before my amalgams were removed, I believe I had high estrogen levels...every month my breasts would swell and be painful, I'd have terrible cramping, and my cycles were somewhat heavy and lasted a full 4-5 days. I tried using a natural progesterone cream Pro-G-Yam Cream, but it only seemed to help a little.

Since the removal, my cycles have greatly improved on their own. I have only minor swelling and tenderness, just mild cramping (of course I'm an avid tea drinker so I know I still get some caffeine which can cause cramping due to mineral deficiency), and my cycles are somewhat lighter.

However, now, when I faithfully use the Pro-G-Yam cream, I have almost no swelling or tenderness, no cramping, and a shorter cycle (only 3 days or so).

By the way, I don't take any birth control (haven't for over 10 years), so I know that having the mercury removed and the DiamondLite put in are the only differences.

I'll let everyone know what I find out about the DiamondLite. It may be that there are no "perfect" replacement substances, but DiamondLite is the "least harmful."

If this turns out to be the case, then I'm still much better off than having MERCURY, or aluminum oxide, or some other metal mixture in my mouth! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
