jinx, I made no judgments against you regarding your faith -- where in my posts did I ever mention YOUR faith? I only mentioned MY faith and I didn't even elaborate on it. So please don't jump to conclusions.
My entire premise for posting what I have so far has already been shared by me. I didn't like to see posts being made where Forum members (i.e., you) were encouraging other members (i.e., Tracy) to commit suicide.
And who knows who else might be reading these posts and might themselves feel as though they are on the brink so-to-speak? If they are in a similar situation as you and feeling a loss of reality or "dementia" as you describe, your post might be all that they need to complete the deed and do themselves in.
I also made no assumptions about the collective nature of mercury poisoning as it affects people. Where did I made the assumption that mercury suffering is the same for everyone?
We are all unique. I made broad descriptions of how some of us are affected by it -- whether it was depression, multiple illnesses, or whatever. And I DID say that there are plenty (and I DO mean plenty) of people who are mercury poisoned and feeling depressed and suicidal and they even read and contribute to this board. And they are not making public threats of suicide nor are they encouraging others to commit suicide.
What makes you and Tracy unique in this manner and different from the others? What is causing you and Tracy to continue as you have done for many months to post threats or fantasies or vent or whatever about suicide? Who knows? I wouldn't dare say that it is because you and she are suffering more than anyone else here. Nor would I dare say that it is because you two are the only mercury sufferers who are feeling depressed or would like to end it all. I do know that I have read your posts and Tracy's for as long as you two have been members here and I read your posts with sadness and wish things would change for you both.
So I will make this assumption -- and I will make it without apology -- anyone who is mercury poisoned has probably gone through a personal hell like no other. For any one of us to sit back and declare that our own personal hell is worse than another person's is the heighth of arrogance and selfishness.
So if you go back and read what I wrote you will see that I did not place all aspects of mercury poisoning and how it affects individuals in one basket by saying we are all the same.
What I DID say, was that those of us who are mercury poisoned still have to try to "do the right thing." That means not killing ourselves or another person -- it also includes not encouraging another person to kill themself.
It's this simple . . . Don't encourage another person to kill him or herself.
