Frankly, I find your post an insulting, sweeping generalisation of any Christian on this forum who will be wondering if it's them you're speaking of and no doubt being as confused as I am about it. Certainly I have never suggested or thought I was ever specially "favoured" by God, or had special hidden knowledge, and have NEVER suggested that suffering/misfortune/sickness was always deserved by those that get it. Quite the contrary!

If I really believed that, I would not waste so much of energy and time on the mercury forum or any other health forum, both gaining and giving help and sharing with others on there who I actually consider to be for the most part, an inspiration and help to me. Many Christians I know find strength in the cross. you know the one? The old rugged one Christ hung from, who deserved it less than anybody.

I think your comments here reveal a basic dishonesty and a deliberate, rather manipulative desire to misinterpret and mis-inform. Quoting out of context in this manner and using the words "few residents" whilst doing so, is just silly, untrue and judgemental.
