Also, you're right! I'm not interested in convincing people to believe anything but what the evidence shows. If evidence supported evolution, I would be a passionate promoter of evolution. But the evidence does not support evolution.
In fact, when you study this out, you come to the same conclusions that Hovind does, and that is that evolution is nothing more than a social control mechanism. Ironically, that is exactly what evolutionists believe Christianity is. They simply have not done their homework yet still claim to have reached good conclusions. I've been independently studying these fields for well over 20 years.
Moreover, I have studied both sides of the fence extensively and found that evolution is just like the amalgam issue and global warming: It's a politically motivated program based on complete lies and skillful deception used for the benefit of a few very wealthy people who have no conscience and are not your friend—unless you consider reducing world population from 6.5B to 500M in a few years a friendly program.

Yes, these people engineered and promote the multigenerational myth that is evolution in order to prevent you from ever realizing the integrity of the Bible. And why would they do this? Because the Bible is—in fact—the most dangerous truth has the power to destroy their deadly grip on the world—if people would only research these things and stop blindly believing textbooks, news programs, and the Discovery channel and check up to see if the claims made are actually true (again, just like the amalgam issue). Think: The tomato effect.
I have done my homework and I have connected the dots and I now understand how the world really works. Once you get it, it's amazing how everything fits together perfectly.
