What do you wash your dishes with?
I use a washing up liquid called "ecover",I dilute half &half with water first for dishes and also use this in a spray bottle to wash off the bugs.

For slugs & snails I made a border around each plant/veg
with ground coffee,the real stuff collected from coffee drinkers.
Someone told me that crushed eggshells would hinder them but they made it through.Slow but determined are those slimy folk! They always out of bed before us!
So me and my son used to go out and do dawn patrol,picking them up and leaving them down the other end of garden...
great fun for him.
