It's not really the buck that bothers me but the idea of time tending dandelions. but go ahead start some up and put several in the flower beds and you'll never have to look far for good dandelion. but it ain't a really flower so don't bother too much with it. God forbid I hear you saying you <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hehehe.gif" alt="" /> fertilized them too.

late for the echinacea but definitely go with that and tend them well this first season. Get a sprayer bottle to keep those misted so they sprout, they are difficult and sensitive the first go round, ever after once established they do real well on their own.
