Feverfew, just eat it, a few of the larger leaves at a time, maybe 5 leaves if they are little. No need to dry it or anythuing, should stay green for you all winter, somewhat. You have to eat it before you get a headache to keep the headache away so eating a few leaves every 5-6 days or so is a good idea if you have been getting headaches, more often if they have been bad. If you feel one coming on, eat some right away. It's a mild blood thinner, much better than aspirin. Helps with chelation as a blood thinner too btw. Your wife will appreciate it for pms and menstrual cramps. Eat some just prior to the monthly and she should avoid any issues, eat a few leaves and take a calcium/magnesium supplement and the cramps will go away within 2 hours. Feverfew is our most often used medicinal herb here. No need to ever eat more than 5 leaves at a time, it's very effective. Gets a little over a foot tall and bushy when mature, lasts forever far as I can tell from year to year, reseeds itself generously.

Barefoot in green manure huh? Any thought of parasites as you do that? I would get some horse manure from the guy up the road except I keep thinking of parasites and so I never do it. But anyway...

hmmm, torn ligament, didn't you mention you were prone to yanking muscles? diet maybe? That takes a long time to heal, worse than a broken bone, scars the muscle for life. Hope it wasn't too bad a tear. Whey protein is a good muscle builder... cottage cheese has lots of whey.

slight swelling in lymph glands here today, probably the humaworm.

I need a good bread recipe. I make great pasta, with ground flax seed and whatever else.

Moved a bunch of little cilantro from the weedy part of the garden to a little area where i can tend it. Put in some seeds for butternut and spaghetti squashes. Put in some more basil, got the kid to do some weeding around her cucumbers, she complaining about getting her hands dirty the whole time.. me telling her the garden is women's work the whole time... and if she doesn't know how she'll be sick and hungry when she's all grown up... she doesn't like to do it now but she'll remember someday and at least be able if she needs to. She discovered the dandelion in her salad the other day and got angry at me for that too... heh. She's been eating for a few weeks and hadn't noticed. Well her liver is probably clean by now anyway. I should have gotten some sugar snap pea seeds, been wet and rainy they would be great this year. oh well.

I have some old fish in the freezer I am going to make some fertilizer from, i should start that today. was going to mulch it in gallon containers with some weeds, leaves and grass and just let it sit a few weeks to decompose.

There is a ton of amaranth coming up in the garden. I wish I had an idea of how to make flour from it. I need a little hand mill grinder or something.. some ideas..
