yeah well I left Manhattan 28 years ago. Have only visited a couple times since. don't miss it. Was a great place to start a career I missed the big outdoors terribly while living there though. NYC made me sicker than a dog after a dozen years of sucking tailpipe exhaust. I guess you can live there happily if you don't like to do too much oustide. You would have been what, 10 yrs old then? You'll figure it out I have no doubt. Me, I learned how to use the internet for a reason, chatting at webboards was not the reason... my workforce consists of about 5 different machines. Suits me quit well, they never talk back. one died last week though. I have yet to finish a painting while we have lived here that should tell you something. I really need to get going with that I have a juried exhibition coming up and I need to land first place to get me the attencion that will then get me the local $$$.

my tomaters have sprouted! these are going to be superb 3 months down the road and I won't be able to shutup about them either. I saved this seed from some dandy extra tasty heirlooms I bought from a guy who farms on a mountainside 100 miles from here. they are the best tomatoes I have ever had in my entire life. I am going to bottle up egads bunches of them.

onions have sprouted too, no big deal, just onions.
