Hi Sunshine &Sos,
I never went to get reiki but who knows?Surely in my lifetime someone has sent me some reiki!A nice thought.I know a few reiki masters they probably have sent me some healing at times.
But I have gone to a handfull of healing ceromonies over the last few years and had some special spiritual experiences there.I know for a fact there is someone looking after me,I think possibly two spirits.I won't go into this further unless of course you want to know...

Have you seen or read "the secret"this reminds me of reiki, sending positive thoughts out into the universe...
it's powerful.I believe this completely.

I didn't write "witches"it was the title of the post I was referring to written by Sunshine!
I don't go to mass but I was raised as a catholic,but I am very aware of my spirituality.I practice mindfullness meditation and yoga,but have not done these in over a month.
I am out of balance at the moment and need to ease back into these.I find I fall asleep when I set out to meditate these days...ok enough excuses...

SoS, Reiki,prayer,laying of hands,I completely agree with you about it the effect depending on the spirit/person
practicing this,they need to be grounded ,balanced and
completely focused on the task at hand.

This ,I do not believe matters,the reiki person believes in goodness,light,love,healing,
God is all of these things.God is love ,light,goodness,healing and so it does not matter what the reiki people call him/it ,it's all good&the same.

I believe in God.Believe is the wrong word,more like I know.
Sometimes the church just gives him a bad name.

Sorry for hijacking this thread!I have no cats...so I'll just take myself off to the philosophy section,shall I?
